Well you just called me a complete idiot for expressing my feelings when I was asked for my opinion on a subject.

I just don't understand the point of opening about personal details of one's life in an online blog. To me there is no reason for it. How many blogs has Chad had to erase over the years? You would think some lesson would be learned on the matter.

So tell us what exactly is wrong with the one he just posted? You say he should keep it to himself, what info in that blog do you think the public and fans shouldn't be reading? You're just making blanket statements without actually going into any reason. And like I said, do you then think that bands shouldn't be allowed to write autobiographies?

Ok I had to go back and watch again to see if I was really seeing what I thought I saw and yes it was the same and more. Check out the two chinese people that walk up and start laughing and look at each other like wtf is this shit? Then they walk away. I feel bad for Ed after watching this.

.... and you say more showed up later? There is a vid of Grace on there too and its still the same amount of people standing there motionless. Did they all leave right before the big finale?

Beacon, I'm not sure I completely get where you are coming from.
First off you bitch that Ed isn't coming to Atlanta.
That must indicate you are a fan and want to see him.
Then you turn around and post a video of his New York show which doesn't show many people and mock him and his performance and the people that are there.
So to get this straight you wouldn't go to a show of his unless there were a lot of people there? Makes complete sense. Big fan you are. I'm sure Ed won't miss you.
I would go to an Ed show if I was the only one there cause I'm a fan of his and want to see him perform. The people there have nothing to do with my enjoying him and the band.

Youre a stranger to him, we're like family. We've been there for 20 years. We speak to him in this new age of technology. You've been all over him for saying what he has to say and you have to defend Ed...Let Ed defend himself if he's done something wrong.

How are you like family to Chad Taylor? I think that is a bold statement to make.

Yeah I didn't quite get that one, I think he means that actual fans of the band Live are interested to hear what he has to say (most of us) and that people who are just fans of Ed (you) wouldn't be interested in anything he has to say. Therefor the fans are like family and people who aren't fans are strangers..

If you don't care what he has to say, then you were never really attached to this band and what they meant to you. So much of what people wanted to know were revealed in that heartfelt letter. Nick, are you going to buy this book?

Well if you read the whole thing you would see that I said I wish he would have a good turnout. I am only pointing out what looks to be an embarrasing and uninspired performance. I was actually looking forward to seeing him on tour and was dissapointed he was not coming close by. However, after seeing this I am not very dissapointed anymore. I dont think I would be missing much. And yes I bet Ed will miss me because thats just another dollar he wont see for his bank account. And I am betting that between an Indie release and a lawsuit pending he needs all the cash he can get right now! I saw him last summer at his solo act where there was only about 60 people and it was amazing. But that was a solo act not a rock concert. There is a big difference. You cant possibly watch this you tube video and say damn that was awesome! If so then you obv never saw a LIVE concert before.

The NYC show was one of my top concert experiences ever. Other fans of Ed who went to the show, thought the show was awesome as well. People who went to see TGF at Summerfest loved the show despite the smallish crowd too. You can't judge a concert by a youtube video, you have to be there in person.

Oh and the Atlanta show was sold out in a room that holds 150-185 people, so roughly 3 times more than the 60 you estimated.

I didn't say that I didn't enjoy reading parts of Chad's blog, because certain aspects were very interesting. However, I don't agree with opening up intimate details of your life for the world to see on the internet. At the least its' embarrassing, at the worst its' dangerous.

I didn't understand why there was no mention of Adam K. in the blog. Did I miss it?

So 60 or 185? Whats your point? I said it was an amazing show. Whats your argument here?

The blog didn't really need to mention him. I am sure this book will though in some light.

The blog mentioned the touring guitarist before Adam and focused a great deal on Railo. I found the omission very weird.

Perhaps he didn't want to talk of Adam for a myriad of reasons. Adam was always cool with the guys. Perhaps zmanpga knows the story.

He didn't have to speak poorly of him, he could have mentioned Adam in a positive light. It was just odd.
