Yes, unless there is a bunch of people hiding in the sides the camera doesn't catch then this is kind of disturbing.

Actually was about 300-500 people there. It was 102 degrees so a lot were standing in shaded areas away from the stage. For an afterwork concert in a horrible heat wave, Ed drew a nice crowd.

300 - 500 imaginary friends? That video shows 30 people tops. I'm sorry, but 300 - 500 people is just an absurd estimate.

I was there, you were not. There was definitely a few hundred people in attendance for the show.

Nick I dont know you and I try to respect your opinions on here but come on man! WTF are you smoking? 300-500 people. Maybe at the actual festival or whatever that was going on that day but not at the stage Ed was playing. Try to spin it whatever way you can man. The camera doesnt lie. There is also a recording of Selling The Drama too and its like everyone is asleep watching him. And I guess those 300 people are still in the shade too because there is still no one at the stage. Im even dissapointed myself seeing this and wish he would get a bigger turn out but maybe this is why his US tour has so little dates because he cant sell tickets. I hope it gets better for him I really do. I was even hoping he would visit Atlanta so I could see him but there is no way I would invite someone with me to a concert 4 hours away and we be like only 2 of 20 people there. No way. Embarrasing! no.gif

Few hundred walking around at this event, or few hundred at the show? Besides, few hundred typically isn't 300 - 500, its more like 100 - 300. See, you tried to argue with me about the Fat Daddy's show, I called your ass out on it, and you ran away and never responded. I'll at least stick around for this.

The video shows me about 30 people, 30 people that seemed bored. I counted at least half a dozen people that walked up, got bored and then walked away. Everyone else was standing still, and didn't look like they were even remotely enjoying themselves.

The US tour is developing slowly. Ed is also touring Europe, Australia, and South Africa this Fall. There is no way he could accomplish an entire US slate on top of all that.

There was definitely a few hundred people there. Maybe 500 was a high estimate but there was a lot of people filling the space. The hottest area was the unshaded area in front of the stage and many hung back. The concert grounds when back probably about 1000 feet and people were hanging all throughout the are. More and more people showed at the concert went on as well.

Also remember the concert was at 5 pm, when most were still in work. It was a one stage festival show, and it was a good turnout with a few hundred fans.

Ok I had to go back and watch again to see if I was really seeing what I thought I saw and yes it was the same and more. Check out the two chinese people that walk up and start laughing and look at each other like wtf is this shit? Then they walk away. I feel bad for Ed after watching this.

.... and you say more showed up later? There is a vid of Grace on there too and its still the same amount of people standing there motionless. Did they all leave right before the big finale?

I'm not gonna get into an argument with anyone as to how many people were there, although I do admit that even though the camera is focused on the stage its a bit silly to deny that the only people at the gig were the ones in view of the camera, I'm sure there were more people than what the camera shows. Maybe not a lot more, but still more.

My gripe is just how god damn uninspiring that performance was. I know it must have been how with that heatwave, but like you always say Nick, put on a good show for the crowd, didn't look like it. Selling the Drama was just ... lifeless, the band don't move and all Ed does is walk back and forth with his knees bent all the time doing those weird hip movements. This isn't even touching on the drum machine on the left hand side of the stage.

I think I'm getting more and more comfortable with the idea of Ed's tour passing Aus by and me not attending, that doesn't look like it's worth money to me.

Ed is actually doing pretty well, I don't think there is any need to feel bad for him. His summer tour had awesome reviews and drew solid houses. His fall tour is positioned to do even better.

European tour is selling very well, and I'm betting the Australian tour will do the same.

Keep up the fight man but really all Ed is doing is rearanging chairs on a sinking ship! This show was so lifeless it was pathetic from what I can see on this video. I dont understand how he can be happy doing this. His solo acoustic shows blow his full rock band shows away. How is that?

Nick I tried hard to see you in the crowd of 30 people. Where are you hiding? Are you in the phantom shady acres?
