I'm all for this project and would be glad to help in any way possible. I'm tossing some ideas about structure so here it goes:

1) How I Found LIVE
2) Concert Stories
3) Friends I've Found Through LIVE
4) Analysis of The Music

Sure there can be more just thinking out loud really.

As I stated just spitballing some ideas nothing concrete just yet.

I'm sure I'll have more ideas as will others in the coming days, I'm doing what I can while still focusing on a couple other projects. All this creativity is what LIVE is/was about and hearing people talk about our favorite band in a positive light is a welcome change. If you have ideas feel free to message me at anytime or E-mail me. I always have time for my fellow friends through LIVE.

So, guys, as I have already stated in the Chad Taylor letter thread, back in 2003 I started my own project over at WFT, where I wanted all the fans to participate and write a book about our fave band> I wanted to gather ALL the possible interviews, loads of pictures and fans' show reviews spanning all the Live carreer.

So, my friends, any thoughts? Who wants to participate in the project, help and get it running?

Once again, with this post I can say that I will eagerly moderate and run this project for as long as needed.

I can try to collect interviews and stuff. I have stuff from Kerrang (used to have a subscription) and maybe things that other people wouldn't necessarily own.

So, here is how I see it.

Everyone who is willing to participate can write whatever he wants, but he has to cover several aspects (if possible):

1. How the band was discovered, with probably a good quali pics of the first Live-related item in life (for instance I still cherish the pirate tape of TDTH which I bought in 1999), with feelings, thoughts etc after the first listen.
2. Concert experience (how you got to a gig, what songs and special moments you remember)
3. Meeting the band. I know loads of people will be willing to share funny experience, just like swami, OTD etc etc etc
4. What Live is to you today, how the music helped you survive through the hard times or became the soundtrack to the good times or whatever. How it influenced your life.
5. Pictures. If you have your OWN pics of the band - would be nice to see them

I think we shall later design it as a huge college book or photo album or even a diary. I just asked my girl - she is more than willing to help and make it look like a book.

And we will also have to find good quotes by the band, some rare interviews etc. For instance we once had a nice thread at WFT with quotes that appealed to us:

Dan, I also would love to have your seal of approval. And, maybe, if it grows, really we can have a whole cathegory for the book?

I'll definitely get on writing something about each of those categories and can forward it to you. Do we have a time frame set, like end of the year or something?

I think, we will have to have it. Not now, but soon, as we get things running. Other way it could last for ages But for now - the sooner the better and take your time on the other hand. Just enjoy your input and make it interesting./

I also started thinking about the title.

What about having a long title, comprised of 2 parts? On my way to work I thought that the first part would sound good if it is

STILL AROUSED

and the second line like the fans talk about Live or some shit like that bla bla bla

so for now we have swami, Merica, OTD, TheBeacon, Good_Pain, brandedwendy, SecretInsomnia, Sakhmet2, Pokey and myself. Quite a crowd already, but not too many for a whole BOOK.

How about a whole chapter dedicated to Luke's rants? It could be called "LiveRocks, and if you don't believe it, ask Luke..."

Also for the title .. I don't know, first thing that came to my head was just something to do with TBD, "dressed in Blue" or something lame, cos it's Tibetan BOOK of the dead and yeah, forget it haha. but I don't know.

I wonder if they or someone ended up actually copywriting the name "Ecstatic Fanatic" ... would be cool if we could use that name, or if it's only copywrited to music media or something .. would be appropriate at least.

"Its the way they sang which made us dream"
