Too predictable. Can't win one argument so you shift the focus. I haven't been in a classroom for over 2 years and I don't tolerate idiots with no credentials spouting off health advice in real life, either. I have always been, and will continue to be, the man. hi.gif

You're the one changing focus and targeting my credentials and not commenting on my posts. Maybe you should quit the childs play and become a surgeon so you can surgically remove the stick from your ass. So we haven't really been holding an argument for me to win or lose, just you being a spaz, as I predictably commented on.

Surgery is just not interesting to me. I have performed over 30 gastric bypasses, placed 20 gastric bands and resected 2 brain tumors, and didn't enjoy one of them. Plus the hours are considerably more demanding, the training a few years longer, and often the pay is worse than child psychiatry. Still waiting on your credentials!

I don't have any. Still waiting for you to respond to where the conversation left off way in the beginning.

Right so my atkins got off to a shakey start when I got roped into afterwork drinks on friday. So little hiccup and a reset is to happen.
I don't think it'd be that hard to stick to, just hard to find things to eat, I'm still struggling to try and put a proper 7 day simple menu together that didn't just consist of the same thing day in day out. Restart again tomorrow until I get it right!

Man this diet is harder to stick to than I thought .. it's not that I've been having cravings and breaking but I keep eating things unknown to me to really have carbs in them. Keeping track I think is the hardest part .. however I'm determind to get it right and have a good few weeks on it still, will just have to keep resetting when I fuck up. Regardless of that, cutting out all junk food and soft drink and such is bound to help anyways.

Also went back into the gym for the first time in ages, decided to give the treadmil a go and surprisingly no knee pains. I'm not counting my eggs yet though because I'm sure they'll be back, but I was happy to get running and finished out of exhaustion and not pain. Bit hard on the feet though but I'm sure that'll get easier. I am patheticly unfit though, only spent 15mins at a steady jog and I was done. But then jumped into doing some weights .. mostly lat pulldowns (I think thats what its called..), some tricep curls, ab crunches, some other thing which i don't know the name of but it's for your shoulders, and also leg presses .. was surprised how strong I still am in the legs as I could comfortabley press quite a bit of weight.

So if all goes well I'll be in the gym 3-4 times a week until I leave, so thats another 17-20 sessions I'd say, so hopefully I'll see some results. I think the sad part is I'll have to quit the gym before I leave because I'll have to move house while I'm gone and wont be near it anymore.

I actually bought some not too long ago, but I have really flat feet so any new shoes always absolutely destroy my feet. Been trying for years with special insoles and such to correct them but they're stubburn, just a matter of working through it.

Haha, I've made so many fucked up comments when wasted on forums and then cringe next day. But hey, it's better on some internet forum then in real life. (and there's been plenty of those too) at least on the net you can't get punched in the face.
