Through all of this, I find that I still have a deep seeded hatred for Ed Kowalczyk.

I'd love to hear Nick's reaction, but I can already guess that he won't "waste" his time reading it because it's from Chad. What a joke of a Live fan that he is.

I'll gladly enjoy what we had in the 90's and what we have now with TGF.

It seems that since 99 Live was dead and gone. After 911 Live wasn't Live anymore.

I can't wait to read this book. I can't believe he wrote all this for us. He's the fucking man!!!

I'm literally in tears. It took awhile (I'm a slow reader), but I read the whole post by Chad. I've been RELIGIOUSLY following this band for almost 20 years and this is by far the most honest and thorough form of contact from any of the members. When I first heard the In Conversation disc back in 1997 I knew that Chad Taylor was a force to be reckoned with. This post by Chad has given me new insight into the band's history that I never knew about, but it has also strengthened my resolve to write. I am simply FLOORED by Chad's willingness to indulge this kind of emotion and history with us.

Chad Taylor, if you're reading this......Thank You!

I just finished it as well. Unbelieveable stuff there. I think I healed some with that.

Can't wait to see the next 20 years.....he's got too much chudzpa in his soul not to keep us wanting LIVE.

We learned a few things:

-holy shit: 35 unreleased tracks from the pre-TDTH era??
-Pop Vortex would become Vine Street, so that solves that one.
-We need to find TRANSMISSION from the TDTH era.

There is a lot of great stuff in here about how the music biz really works (V, the TDTH final master, etc.). I'm really glad he shared all of this.

It's simply amazing that SS raw is 10x better. I've always held that album close to my heart, he's saying the final version isn't the best...wow.....homespun again!!!!

I just posted the original message to Chad, followed by his response to my Facebook friends. Hopefully you can all see it too, with my intro. If not, well, fuck it smile.gif I'm just still shocked and awed to read this kind of lengthy reply from Chad smile.gif

Rum'n'coke, anyone?
