I don't think they've changed, I think hoodstock just misheard those 2 lines. the rest of the lyrics are what I hear, as well.

They are sort of strange.

it is true that you don't bite dick to be in waiting...

Luckily for all concerned.

Since I refuse to listen to that shit again, I'm just going to keep thinking he said "bitin' on a dick" because in my mind it is the last cool thing he did. bounce.gif

QUOTE(dangum @ Jul 15 2010, 9:58 am) *

I heard a report that Ed and his band prayed together side-stage before the show at a recent gig.

"Dear God, oh watery spiraaat,
Please help us to play these simple guitar riffs well
Please help Ramey to smile and hit the cymbal
God, help me remember the shitty lyric re-writes I made for you
All this so we can sell pendants, coffee, and copies of my album
to further your heavenly love in this world

Amen

Oh and may they also buy multiple copies to get all of the bonus tracks

Amen"

Its clear edward is a christian now and it seems his new band mates are too. I dont know for sure, but something tells me the other members of live were not this way inclined, at least not to the extent that edward is. Ive been thinking ever since he announced his christianity and then his decision to go solo, that it had something to do with this. He likely wanted to surround himself with people who are "saved". Not too far fetched.

I don't think so either. It's like X-treme Christianity. (Or X-treme Xtian-ity if you prefer)

No it isn't.

And I think the reverse would be true. Just think: it would be like touring with gotirz hehe.gif

Well, another important part of Christianity is repentance. In fact, it says to stop and go to your brother if there is a dispute between you and make it right. Maybe Ed will get around to that part and make it right with his friends of 30 something years. Just a thought........... smile.gif

True, or it could have to do with the fact that they were going to sue his ass.

I haven't seen a cd back cover yet with this song.
Anyone heard it? Is it worth buying the cd from outside Sweden?

back to the "biting dick" thing, thats what I always heard too .. although I wasn't sure if it was "a waiting child" or "of waiting child" .. the fact that there seems to be almost a volume dip in the recording a split second after he said "dick" almost makes me believe it was a "censor" of some sorts on the word that didn't quite get it right, at least the version I have sounds like that..

I didn't mishear anything. There is a small dip in vocal volume when he says it but he sings about a woman biting dick.

We already had this discussion when I posted it. Listen to the song - it's right there.
