Does anyone know if this show is officially sold out? I checked for tickets on ticketmaster, and it says none are available. Pretty cool if Live actually sold out L.A. before the new album has even been released, even if the Fonda Theatre is a really small venue.

I would imagine the show would sell out quickly. There are a lot of fans in LA and surrounding areas. Is anyone from here going to the Los Angeles show?

I guess that's true, but I was a bit surprised because at recent L.A. area +Live+ shows at similar sized venues (typically the House of Blues in Anaheim), tickets have been available for much longer after their initial on-sale date.

But like I said, I like the fact that the Fonda Theatre show sold out. It should make for a rocking, excellent show, since it will probably be filled with REAL Live fans.

I'm going, are you?

Epic is sponsoring this tour...so I'm sure they've bought X amount of tickets for each show to give away to employess and radio stations. Also House of Blues Anaheim sold out in 2 weeks last time. I know because I wanted to see the show and missed out!

I go to the House of Blues, Anaheim shows every year. I ussually line up very early for those shows. What time do you think is a good time to line up to be in the first couple of rows?

Doors open at 8:00, I would say be there by 6:00 or so if you want to GUARANTEE yourself to be the first in.

Although, to be honest, I have showed up AFTER door opening times for Live shows before and have managed to be up front. It just depends on whether or not other people are interested in grabbing a spot up front (many aren't). A lot of people choose to hang at the bar until the opening act starts (or after).

At the Fonda Theatre, there is also a General Admission balcony up top, and a lot of people choose to head up there so they don't have to stand for three hours.

I have never been to a show at the Fonda Theatre where I couldn't get near the front, even if I showed up after the doors opened.

I just wanted to tell everyone that Live rocked last night in Los Angeles. I have been floating on a cloud all day and just reliving every minute. I am so high on the endorphins!

I see the same people every year at the LIVE shows. I have met many of them and many people travel all over to see as many shows as they possibly can. Lot's of people had seen the San Fransisco show the night before. One girl I know was off to Little Rock, Arkansaw to see her third LIVE show in a week.

Ed said he would be back in the fall. I don't know if I can wait that long.

Do those who have seen lots of Live shows in different cities are they all this unbelievable? I have never seen a bad Live show, but this show last night was the bomb.

Oh by the way, Ed hardly mentioned A.I. at all. He said before he played Mystery that he just played this song for 18 million people. But that was it.

I strongly agree! The show was amazing, the best I have ever seen from them. The entire band seemed pumped and extremely happy to be there. The crowd was also amazing -- my girlfriend said it was the loudest crowd she had ever been part of, and I don't think I can disagree.

Where were you during the show? I was about 5 standing rows back on the left-hand side of the floor (right in front of Patrick for most of the show). The view was great, although a trio of 12-year-old little shits who pushed past us right before Live came on and basically stood on my feet (since there really wasn't any room) pissed me off for a while. At least they were short.

I was middle center. 2nd row. Right there. I am short so it was inportant to me to be up front. I saw those 12 year olds. They were in line outside. Some people in those GA crowds can be very sneaky. I got to Heny Fonda about 6:30. So we waited about about an hour and a half. Then the band didn't go on till 10:00. But once they started playing it was all worth it! I am glad your girlfriend loved it!
