I am hoping TGF garners a whole new group of fans, this is why they are doing what they are doing. Making music they way they want. I know rock fans will look at the work and say, hey I haven't heard anything like that in a long time. The people I have let hear the limited TGF stuff to date have said, that is good stuff, who are they? We need to promote.

It helps that Octane has Honest Man in the rotation now. Still, the big push will come when the album is released.

Just as TGF will be associated with Candlebox exponentially more often than with Live, simply because the 'voice' of the band sounds just like Candlebox.

On top of all the idiotic statements you've made here, you make this???? Proves what an utter braindead moron you are musically.

If you think K. Martin sounds anything like he did with Candlebox on TGF'S music?

Jesus, K.M sounds NOTHING with TGF like he did in Candlebox. As a matter of fact, every single person I've told, doesn't believe it. Even a few DJ's i requested the song to were in disbelief. It sounds nothing like Martin normally does, fucking absolutely zero. And that's why I repect the man for the diversity in his vocals so much.

Aside for my disdain for Ed right now, his vocals aren't even close to reaching what Martin does on this record with TGF. Not even comparable in an sense of the word. Ed sounds at best decent and Martin sounds utterly fucking fantastic. The range and diversity he shows on this record is fucking unbelieveable. There are a few songs ya'll will hear in September that you're honestly going to wonder if it's the same guy singing honest man. A great rock voice and a fantastic job on this record.

You think he sounds like he did with Candlebox?? LMFAROFLMAO!!! Listen again you deaf fucking douche.

The man's voice is still the same. He sounds like the singer from Candlebox. He may be using different styles, and have different musicians around him, etc etc. but he is still the singer from Candlebox. Your rants, insults, and expletives wont ever change that.

Just as Ed still sounds like the singer from Live.

Doesn't mean they sound the same or can be identified to any band simply by their voices. So shut up, grow up and quit trying to backtrack in order to explain yourself. Cow.

When I hear TGF, I hear the guy who sang (sings) for Candlebox.

When I listen to Ed's new CD, I hear the guy who sang for LIVE.

I promise you that I am not the only one who hears what I do.

And LiveRoCKs... dude, grow up.

When I listen to A Perfect Circle, I hear the guy from Tool.

When I listen to Audioslave, I hear the guy from Soundgarden.

What does this have to do with anything?

Absolutely. And it has to do with the fact that someone on this board seems to like making personal attacks against someone who states as much about his new favorite band, The Gracious Few. It doesnt take anything away from who they are, its just an observation that anyone can make.

Shall we get back to the back-and-forth over the merits of a lawsuit?

How about this: The United States should institute a 'loser-pays' system. Too many frivolous lawsuits out there! (Now you Ed-haters plesae think before you accuse me of calling this a frivolous lawsuit.)

In some states, I think it actually does work like this in small claims courts. However, as a whole, this would never work as people would never dare sue those who could afford better lawyers.

this court is not in small claims court....NYS Suporeme Court. From reading it, it certainly does appear to have plenty of merit, based on the inclusion of Levin's name all over the suit.

It doesnt work that way here in the states. Maybe it should.

That being said, if the system worked the way it should, then affording a better lawyer shouldn't have anything to do with it anyway, right?

In the United States, anyone can bring suit against anyone else. That's all the merit that's needed. Has nothing to do with some guy's name being on it.

And this is a civil suit (private party v. private party), not a criminal one (law v. private party) taking place in what's basically a county TRIAL court. You guys do realize that , right?
