I predict Ed's next album will be a bunch of praise and worship songs a la Third Day, Chris Tomlin, Michael W. Smith, etc. etc. Those dudes make a killing.

If you hadn't already admitted to hearing the same thing I did, I'd be apologizing profusely for pointing out Ramy's cymbal abuse and getting it stuck in your head. innocent.gif

I love how people are commenting on a show that they didn't attend. Take a look at the Facebook reviews of the show and ask people who actually attended the event. The crowd was into the show and the band was on fire.

The Live shows got a better reaction than the Alive songs, by far. But the crowd was into the show from beginning to end as much as they were for any Live show at the same venue.

Correction, we're commenting on videos that one of your fellow fanboys posted that provide evidence to the contrary of what you've kept telling us. Blame your fellow fanboy for posting the evidence for all to see. I'm commenting on what's there. Get that through your thick skull.

True, but irrelevant. The crowd in those videos sucked. Maybe they were better for other songs. But in the posted videos, they were a sad imitation of a rock audience.

Then on behalf of the state of NJ, I'd like to apologize to the members of Live for the crappy response we gave you guys at Starland Ballroom.

The performance and audience was amazing. I was there, you were not. The reaction to the new songs paled to the Live songs, Lightning Crashes, I Alone, and All Over You being the strongest.

Overall the show was off the charts. I don't think it is fair to judge by low quality youtube videos.

Crash's videos are some of the better quality Youtube videos I've seen of concert footage. I was impressed with the sound clarity. The fact that they didn't show the stuff you claimed doesn't make them low quality.

No shit, Sherlock. That's why I'm going by what the videos show. If Crash has any video of those three songs, I'd love to see it to find out whether you're as full of shit as I suspect you are.

I just honestly think we are dealing with different definitions of "electric" and "rocking." I don't recall Live shows really being either of those things since the 90s, honestly.

I also don't really recall anyone talking about how awesome the crowd at the first TGF show was, personally I couldn't give two shits about the crowd at a show as long as the band is tearing it up. Different strokes for different folks though.

Any review from people in attendance from either TGF's or Ed's shows have said great things. I can honestly say that I enjoyed the two shows I saw this week more than any Live show I've seen in quite some time.

It may not be hardcore rock, but it is very good pop/rock.

If you put "I think" in the second half of that sentence then you are really saying something. smile.gif

Not all of the people who have attended Ed's shows have said great things, according to the other thread.

The majority of reviews have been overwhelmingly positive.
