The NH show was almost sold out. Capacity was 2100 and there were about 2000
And again, as i said. I think he was fantastic so am i a liar too?? lol. The quality of the show was amazing. Like i said in my review, i have been to every live show at this venue and have been going there 30 + years and never saw the crowd do what they did last night. The floor was moving so much i actually got scared.

Ed is all smiles and no substance, like when he was doing the signings here in Melbourne last year, big smile on his face but the vibe from the guy was just he wanted to be anywhere but there. I got no doubt he was the same where you saw him but blind fanboyisim doesn't allow you to see that. And also when I saw him was before the whole court case thing came out so I had no preconcieved notions of how big a dick he was. He just has a bad vibe to him, I even felt it the first couple of times I met him years ago ... hard to believe he and Adam are related.
When you try to talk to Ed about anything that isn't a one off comment that doesn't require him going "thanks man" he seems to get shitty.

I'm not an administrator in the TGF forums, but the same rules should apply. If I post just to stir the pot in TGF threads, Dan has every right to delete my posts.

My issue is members attacking other members. It is becoming a far too common occurence on the site.

Ramy does NOT rock out. He drums blandly and simply, he is a very, very average drummer. Anything other than this is incorrect, you might like him, but it doesnt change what he is.

I just can't believe some people just refuse to see some of these things in him or the music. I can understand people liking it, everyone can like anything really, but it never stops blowing my mind when I see some of the things that Nick writes. I guess I keep hoping in vain that something will get through to him, but it's like talking to a plank of wood, I guess you're right. I should take a page from Ex's book and just go

I just said it wasn't about what people like and don't like, of course different people like different things, that's not my point. It's Nick's ridiculous comments about things he has no idea about (Ramy "rocking out" ..god), it's about the sad downfall in the quality of music and lyrics. Nick can like what he likes but it's mind blowing that he is that far up Ed's ass that he can't ever see any fault in anything he does.
It's the same as hearing someone talk about a player on a football team who is really not all that great, but saying how he's the best player ever. He might be your favorite player, and no one can dispute that, but to say he's the best is wrong. Hearing Nick make comments out of his ass is also old and redundant. Hearing Ed make ridiculously crap music which is so below what he's capable of is old and redundant.

But this isn't a fansofEd board (as much as that's all Nick wants it to be), apparently it's fansoflive so I'm sure the debate will rage on, old an redundant. At least this board has some flare now and some action, if there was no conflict it would just be

If you can hear, you can tell the difference in the drumming. One is complex and entertaining, the other is simple and only keeping time. Sorry, he's "charismatic" though, so that makes up for his lack of skill.

Pretty ironic that when Ed stepped over the other guys and cut them out of the process that not only did the music suffer, but so did their sales and popularity. That's as simple as it gets.

This statement is not a fact. Ed wouldn't have had any success w/o C&C&P asking him to sing. Live's success was built on all 4 of them collaborating as one team.

It seems a lot of the really big Ed fans have forgotten this very fact and those in the other 3's camp always credit the 4 of them.

I don't know...it seems to me that the people who follow Ed now just really never cared about the whole band just Ed. I just hope they don't ever get back together.

Thats an accurate statement. Most live fans I've met at shows, especially the women, fell prey to Ed's seductions LOL So either the men who seem to love him dearly are either delusional or......................

Ramy Antoun has much more personality on stage than Chad Gracey ever had. The Live songs that the new band is playing sound just as good as they did when Live was playing them. There really is no drop off in sound at these shows at all. I found that most surprising, because I expected the new band not to sound as good, it just isn't the case.

Very true...I actually like the little, subtle jams they put throughout the "Live" material. Don't get me wrong. Chad, Chad and Pat are great musicians that grew musically as they got older cause let's face it all the songs on Throwing Copper and MJ were pretty much 4 chord songs, not too difficult to play.

The new band isn't +LIVE+ but now that they are playing w/ Ed more often they are sounding really good. We should all stop hating on Ed and TGF and love what they are putting out. I'm one of the biggest +LiVe+ fans out there. I've been to over 70 +LiVe+ shows all over the US and I have to admit this was one of the greatest shows that I have seen. I mean that w/ no disrespect to Chad, Chad and Pat. i love those guys and I love the songs I've heard from TGF...Musically TGF is AMAZING but Kevin, the vocalist is lacking BIG TIME!!!
