I'm going to make a bold prediction and I'm sorry if people don't agree but give your thoughts anyway.
After listening to SFBM a few times (loving it) I couldn't help but to compare it to DOAD and MJ.
So then I started to think that Live are actually starting all over again, meaning perhaps there next album is going to be- no not TC 2- but back to the solid guitars and good old fashioned rock,
we heard this in BOP so it's definately there.- Thoughts?

...solid guitars and good old fashioned rock...

I definitely don't agree with that part. The guitar is all pretty much the same in every song - pretty lame and not "rockin" at all. And it's definitely not old fashioned rock. It would be a stretch to call SFBM rock at all. You are, of course, entitled to your opinion.

Solid guitars in BOP were nothing like TC .. it had that horrible Jim Wirt touch of going over everything with the sander to make sure it's as smooth and polished as possible.
I don't see how SFBM is like MJ or DOAD either .. so .. I don't really know where any of this is coming from .. but hey I'd be happy for TC 2 over SFBM 2 which is what I'm thinking we'll probably get.

Like I said before, SFBM gives me hope for a better, or even much better next album. Although I don't see the resemblance with MJ, except in how Ed sang in a portion of Sofia.

I'm looking at the similarities here from MJ to SFBM,they don't sound anything alike by the way, nothing. However they are both my least favourite, and they both have no art on the cd,therefore MJ is there first,SFBM will be there last. That it is my prediction.

I disagree. Mental Jewelry has more art and creativity than SFBM could ever have. Not to mention the lyric difference. Jesus, SFBM lyrics are horrible.

Given their age back then, MJ was more creative, mature, and ambitious than what many musicians of their genre could ever put out.

i got a silve mj disk too without art. Only the SFBM dual disk has no art, for obvious reasons, but the normal cd is black with red writing i think

and btw i doubt Live are doing the whole "lets start from the beginning again" thing coz ed now speaks like one of those wacko's who's found christ or something. You know the ones, they're usually from the southern states of America and claim they became new people when they let christ into their hearts and they speak with angelic voices and have big wide glazed-over eyes...???

Ah well neither of mine have art,and this is the single reason why SFBM will be there last album.I mean isn't that evidence alone compelling enough to say it's obvious?

P.S- This guy rockin.gif ,looks like he has one hand against a shower wall and he is batting off!
