Well I just heard Eat Your Love and A New World finally and I am not sure what to think. A New World seems to be a good song but it sounds alot like the rest of the album. All have the same sound kinda with the exception of Soul Whipsers. Thats the only unique song on the album. I will say that if I had to pay for Eat Your Love I would be highly dissapointed. Didnt think too much of it personaly. I will give them a few more listens to see if they grow on me.

Maybe read the whole thread. I for one have said multiple times I recognise this isn't the first and only and that the blame isn't souly put on Ed. That doesn't then just make it a non issue.

I liked both "A new world" and "Eat your love".

Too rebuy the whole album to get them legally is really a shame. If they would charge extra for each bonus song - it is still not okay but at least you pay for what you get without buying the same stuff twice... Well, I don't think anyone disagree...

I guess I need to buy the album from a store abroad as the swedish cd stores almost never have anything special (=bonus tracks). I miss the old days without itunes but I guess the younger people find it more ok to have this sort of double selling. At least when you got a b-side before you only had to pay the price of a single / maxi.

Anyone heard "Sweet surrender"? / got a link to a preview/sample?

Personally, I think it would be more exciting if "A New World," was really a cover of "A Whole New World."

Well let me put it this way, it fits the character of Ed that has been developing, I'm not surprised he's an artist caught up in this.
We are however on a Live message board, I doubt this issue would come up if it involved any other artist besides Ed or the other lads.
If the same thing happend but TGF were the artist I would just as annoyed. I know Nick would be jumping up and down about how horrible it is of them unlike how he's defending Ed. But it'd be a point I couldn't tell Nick he'd be wrong about, only his intentions to think that way. Just an issue I feel strongly about I guess regardless of the artist.

Perfect example of what I was talking about. Musically this and New World are probably my favorites, if you could call them that, the least bad lets say. Even his singing in the verses is just a bit different, I liked it. But those lyrics, how can you ignore that?
