It's not terrible for a lack of skill, because whilst his guitar playing and singing is pretty bad, he at least gets the idea.

It's terrible for its "wtf??? that just does not work" quality I think.
I imagine him riding on a white horse in a suit of armor singing this with a guitar in the middle ages for some reason.

Retarded? Up for debate. But he was a kid of around that age from memory .. so on one hand it's probably unfair to pick on a kid .. on the other, this kid produced these songs which are both comedy and horrifying.
