He bought it on iTunes to get the bonustracks. Who really gives a shit?

It's his money... why would we be calling him a retard for buying it twice? He is free to do whatever the hell he wants.

A bonus track was worth $9.00 to me. I would have paid a lot more.

Would I be dumb if I did the same for a TGF album? Or another artist? I think not.

The answer is yes!

QUOTE(Pokey @ Jul 7 2010, 12:36 pm) *

I really think he does. He seemed to take Chad and Pat "mocking" Ed a bit too personally and really has a strange motherly protection of Ed. He was disgusted at the pot shots they took and then Kevin Martin describing how he was a different performer to Ed .. eh sorry, how he was a "better performer" than Ed must have just pushed Nick to the edge. This is why he's called Ned, he's the embodiment of 2 men .. gone so far up Ed's ass that he's somehow become him.

To me, Nick isn't a fan of Live. His interest in Live in the 90s seems to purely be for "the hits", and once the song writing credits were listed to Ed then Nick really seemed to jump on board and love this band "Ed Kowalczyk and the Lives"
If an artist tries to swindle me out of money like this, then the bonus shit gets downloaded for free. This goes for any artist, TGF included. If I loved the artist and really wanted the song I'd definitely pay for it, but if it means having to buy the entire album again just to get the extra song then that's just fucking robbery and there is no need to do that.

I'm curious to see what happens if/when The Gracious Few post a bonus track on Itunes.

A bonus track that is released as a standard track on other versions of the cd in no way is worth $9.00. Maybe $0.99, but certainly not $9.00. That's just retarded.

If iTunes does have exclusive bonus tracks, I wait a few days and they're magically available online for free. Sure as hell beats having to buy the same cd multiple times.

May not be worth it to you, but it was to me.

If it is officially available for free down the road, then that is just great for the people who waited. But I got it when I wanted it. Good for me!

Why do you find the need to insult people? Is it really any of your business how JCLive spends his money?

I bought the album 3 times, so you can really rip into me if you like.

Ripping into you isn't needed, it's just fun. You're an easy target because you set yourself up for it. You flat out refuse to answer tough questions. You're aimlessly blind to anything negative about your demigod Eddie K. You worship the ground that he walks on.

Maybe we should ask on FB. TGF doesn't bitch around with bonustracks. I know they don't, cos they create music from their hearts, not from their fucking wallets.

So you wanted to own the actual cd, I can respect that. However, why in the hell would you also buy it on iTunes? Let me guess, you wanted it on your ipod. Hey hotshot, it isn't hard to rip the music from the cd and put it on your ipod.

Dude, no need to get personal here. I'm perfectly capable of ripping a CD to iTunes.

I'll download them for free. I'm not paying twice for the same album, I don't care who it is. Alter Bridge's Blackbird cd had 3 bonus tracks. 2 which were Best Buy exclusives, and 1 which was an UK and iTunes exclusive. I bought the album once and downloaded the 3 bonus tracks.

Fucking hell ... you don't think it's cheap to make people buy a whole album of songs they already have just for 1 track? Let's pretend that Ed didn't do this but TGF did, I bet you any fucking money you would be jumping up and down and pointing out what a low act it is.
I think it's just as much thievery to make someone buy something they already have just for 1 extra song, there is just absolutely no need for it. Justify WHY it is is a good idea to do this other than making more money?
What pleasure is there in buying something you already have just for one tiny extra add on? Is the pleasure that you can get the add on? Why not just sell the add on seperately?
Or at the very least make it a single with B-sides, so it's worth buying a single.
