As much as the sounds of now differ from the sounds of then, i still rather enjoy this album. Pop or rock who cares. As long as it sounds good and puts a smile on my face i will enjoy it. No matter who sings it, whether it is different from what they have done previously or the same.

Whilst there are no songs on it similar to I Alone, All Over You, Lightning Crashes, there are new songs and new directions, nothing will ever take away those other songs. Did everyone enjoy the rest of the albums and songs on first listen? I know a few songs have taken me a while to get a feel for.

Do people not like this album because of the person doing the singing or is it a real dislike to the music? I think its people hating on the artist and not the work.

Some of the people here that I respect say this album sucks. I'm starting to worry I just flushed $14 down the toilet.

I'll be hopefully optimistic that I will like this album when I actually hear it.

Ithink that poeple here do not like the work - this does not have much to do with Ed. Alive is on par with SFBM, which most people disliked. If they disliked the artist then they would dislike Zion and Grace too, but it seems that most fans here like these two songs. Also, don't forget that we have heard all the TGF songs and we tend to compare. Since the majority of fans here are old school Live fans and since Ed just continues his 2000s stuff, then they tend to dislike Ed's music even more.

I really want to get one signed by TGF with one of the following messages, so that we can mail it to Ed...

To Ed, go fuck yourself. Love Chad Taylor, Chad Gracey, Pat Dahlheimer.

To Ed, enjoy some real rock. Love Chad Taylor, Chad Gracey, Pat Dahlheimer.

To Ed, thanks! Love Chad Taylor, Chad Gracey, Pat Dahlheimer.

That's a good idea. Perhaps, he likes TGF but he is denial. Eve ifn he dislikes the harder TGF songs, from how he has commented on Ed's and TGF's songs so far, one should expect Nick to like songs like Cryin Time, Sing, What's wrong, The rest of you, Silly thing and All i hear.

The most honest thing Nick has said in the time I've been here is that he doesn't enjoy the harder rock genre. Thus, any and all attempts to get him to join us in our love of TGF are dead on arrival. Find some other soul, with a love of rock firmly ensconced, to send the CD.

Can't go by what others say.....judge for yourselves....if you like it , you like it, if you don't you don't , simple as that. Don't let what others say influence you what to like.

I believe he bet me on whether I would buy 20 copies. I think i'll be getting 30. Whoever needs one and can't spring for it due to hard times, let me know.

Music to the people.
