It's ironic if the TGF people move away, to me they're the real fans of Live. The ones that have loved Live from the start ... and this place would be left with a guy that couldn't give a damn about anything Live did that wasn't a single before about 2004 running a fansofLIVE site.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the site, just the guy running it.

This is a Fans of Live site, but the guy running in was never a fan of Live. I've only been around for a few months and its just that painfully obvious. He was and always will be a fan of Ed, and only Ed. To call him a fan of Live is a freaking disgrace. Ed was a part of Live, and 4 parts made up Live. The people that truly understand that are the real "Fans of Live".

Like I've said in other threads like the intimate and interactive one, the 1995 bootleg thread recently, the first Live concert experience thread ... you never see Nick posting in these threads. It's a shame. I'd love to see Nick share an actual concert experience for him that goes beyond what the rest of the crowd thought of the band. Nick not getting excited and into awesome finds or nostalgia trips like the bootleg pages are just ... sad. Unless the song was a single, or Ed has sole writing credit it just doesn't seem to matter to him. I can't believe the guy that runs the largest Live website around, official or unofficial, wasn't all over that 1995 bootleg that was posted. Nectardan would have been all up in that ... god I miss those days.

I don't think it matters whether you're a fan of one or both. I guess this is more pointed at Nick who seems to have no interest in Live beyond the singles and the songs that Ed wrote. He just doesn't seen like a fan of live to me he doesn't have any appreciation of 3/4 of Live. The people who hate Ed's album at least have a great appreciation of the fantastic w work he's done over the years.

My bad. I just realized that I was getting my memberships confused. I was on the mailing list for friendsoflive from the 90s at my old hotmail account and joined the emailing list here for nectardan at least 5 years ago at yet another account. I lurked for a couple of years before that.
