Oh damnit Nick! The way I feel about CS is absolutely nothing compared to the way I felt about Live for 10 years of my life. CS is a fun band that I absolutely adore that works THEIR asses off, thank you. On their OWN.

It's useless to fucking argue with you. No song or band has ever affected me the way the music of TC, SS, and TDTH has. But you dont ever fucking hear me say that, its the same arguement and shit-flinging it always is with you. There is not one song on BOP or SFBM that whack you upside the head when you hear them. THAT is the definintion of a 'good song' in my book.

See thats your opinion. I think Mystery is as good of a song as Live as ever done. Thats my opinion. We are both very opinionated people and that is why we argue so much. Its nothing personal on my side, but I will argue with someone if I don't agree with them. Especially when its Live related because I am very passionate when it comes to the band.

I hope you can understand when I am coming from. The way you feel about TC, SS, and TDTH is how I feel about the majority of the band's work. So when I hear people trashing the new stuff, it bugs me because I think it is as good or better than a lot of the old stuff.

Woah, woah, woah. Nick, you brought up Collective Soul. Youth is an excellent CD. It may not have been groundbreaking (nor is SFBM, for that matter), but I don't think there's one bad song on there. And Better Now's a great song, especially singing along to in concert.

But I do love SFBM, too. And I do agree with you on Mystery--it's just good.

Comparing Youth to CS's previous work and then comparing SFBM to LIVE's previous work, I can actually rank them about the same. That's my two cents on my two favorite bands' latest.

I like most olives, apart from anchovy stuffed ones as they're just vile. I'm not olivist as I like black and green equally. I can't drink white wine, it makes me ill, but red wine, yeah baby! Anything with Shiraz or Cabernet Sauvignon on the label will do nicely.

without a doubt, i choose The Dream. IN MY OPINION (disclaimer for nick so he doesn't jump down my throat because of what i'm about to say), i don't think SFBM is anywhere near the quality of LIVE's other albums. I THINK that they recorded a decent pop album that will get lost in the crowd with the rest of the decent pop bands out there right now. there aren't really any songs on SFBM that stand out as "that's a fucking awesome song" TO ME. I THINK that adam's music is more pure and real, and seeing him perform these songs just reinforces that TO ME. at this point, i would pick an adam show over a LIVE show anyday. JUST MY OPINION. thumbsup.gif

oh, and i don't like olives...just my opinion of course heather & jen...please don't attack me for that comment! lol.gif

I guess the lesson is that you shouldn't drink the water in central PA.

You can run to the water but you can't drink it.

PS - Jacob, I heart you! And I heart Better Now singalongs! Especially when the crowd knows what they're doing. Chookie, you already know I heart you.
