It is easy money I presume. Maybe he didn't force the guys, but still, do you really think that the three others gave al their soul to SFBM?

Alex

I do not know that, nobody knows. And since we do not know, I find it pointless to just speculate on it. This is not an expression of opinion, it is pure imagination. This why I asked Wambangalang to clarify; to “convert” his imagination into opinion, but obviously he didn’t.

What makes you think that the rest guys did not really like the new material?

OMG, Wambangalang! I laughed out loud so hard I nearly cried!

Sad thing is, I'll bet you're not that far off base

I haven't been able to follow each of the group members' personal lives, but is it only Ed who is into this level of quest for love and spirituality? I know it has always been a Live trademark to dwell on these things, but it seems it has been overemphasized lately.

I asked because, could the rest of the band be comfortable with it? Just an insight into Wambangalang's post.

Love and spirituality have been present in Live's work since MJ. It was overemphasized with TDTH, it is not lately.

I dont think its necessarily a bad thing to overemphasize something you believe in, if that makes your songs better. I dont have a problem with the subject matter in SFBM, the music just doesnt reach for anything. Its all about perspective and if you look at the album as a warm little package that keeps you humming for an hour, its really inoffensive and neat. But it aint Throwing copper and Im gonna go against the norm and say I want another fucking throwing copper! I want TC 2. Period. Dont say "they aint ever gonna make TC 2 again because they cant....they wrote the thing, they can write another one! Period.

Sorry for the extra period

and that one -----------^

I like SFBM, BOP and some songs off V but i would like to have in my hands another TC, too. They can do it, they just don't want to, i guess.

By lately I meant from V, and by overemphasized I meant in a cheesy kind of way.

MJ, TC, and SS rocked in three different kind of ways, so yeah, why can't they again?

Thanks to Tabucky, I finally heard Night of Nights, and it is an awesome song. I could see Live using it as the opening song for upcoming shows. No doubt Live can still rock it out when they want to.

It really is a great song, the standout on the album, hopefully they continue with this sound onto their next album, which we will see in 5 years.

I've had a couple of listens to SFBM now and I've just had a little hair standing up on the back of my neck moment with Night Of Nights. What a f*cking GREAT song!

Yea, it is one of Live's best. This is one of the reasons why i like SFBM. Since the album has some good songs, a couple of which are awsome then it stands as a solid album for me.

There can NEVER be another Throwing Copper - the spheres were in total alighnment when that album was made and they haven't been since. I'm glad in a way as it would devalue the original.

Of course i want something new, but i would like another TC as well. I am one of those fans who appreciate V, liked BoP and really likes SFBM. These 3 albums are very different from TC. In a way i am glad that Live have never repeated their sound.
