Keep drinking The Gracious Kool Aid.

And you keep drinking the Eddie K kool aid.

I mean really, what kind of a response is that? You probably haven't heard of any of the bands who headlined Friday night anyway.

lol.

Hey, have you guys ever wondered if the TGF guys have accounts on here and shit on Ed, too? That would be hilarious if they did.

Considering how they shit on Ed a bit on Twitter, would it not surprise you if they were here, too?

Haven't seen it in the short time I've been on here. Actually, would surprise me if they posted any such stuff at this point. CT has been better about not rising to the bait when someone trolls the TGF Facebook page. I think with the live dates getting under way, the radio interviews, and the album release coming up, they've more or less moved on.

I'm not saying the topic isn't still a raw nerve for them, but I think now that things are getting moving, it's easier for them to leave the past behind.

And in typing that last line, I have a sudden need to listen to Dam at Otter Creek again.

I will. It is cool, delicious, and refreshing. You keep chewing Ed's bubblegum music. But remember, it doesn't take very long for bubblegum to lose its flavor.

The amount of hype and advertising that TGF put into their first official show at Summerfest, drawing roughly 100 fans is a huge disappointment. You said yourself, that the Summerfest show was a huge deal because of the sheer number of people the band would be able to reach. It just didn't click.

Oh, I'm pretty sure you can bet on that! There are some very vocal "new" posters (from the last few months) who definitely seem to have a really, really, really big chip on their shoulders when it comes to Ed.

Now the big question is... is Ed around and which poster is he?

I'm one of the vocal new posters. Hell, I may be THE vocal new poster. Aitkens knows who I am and he can attest to the fact that I'm not one of the band. Actually, OTD also knows who I am though he and I have yet to meet in person.

Did you have someone else in mind?

It's true to a point. He also does a lot of Ed's Facebook postings. And I'm not talking posting under his own name in support of Ed. I'm talking under Ed's name with a (Nick) just before the post.

They could have taken your approach and bait the Live and Candlebox fans into coming to the show. But, then again, they have integrity and you don't.

So does that mean the Fat Daddy's show, for which we had about a week's notice and drew a few hundred people on a night when Fat Daddy's is normally closed is a smashing success?

Two can play at this game, Nick. And I assure you that I'm better than you at it.

I never said that it wasn't a disappointment, I'm sure it was for everyone involved. Are you happy now?

I knew you would be absolutely giddy that they didn't draw well. Have fun with that.

I'm still not quite sure where all this advertising and hype he was referencing was. It was clear that there wasn't a lot of promotion put into this show outside of Facebook.

I'm sure The Gracious Few will be able to tour and draw decent crowds in certain areas. The show you mentioned was free and in Live's hometown, so that certainly helped draw a decent crowd.

Summerfest was a Gracious Fail for their first pay show though. I'm sure things will get better in time, but TGF will never be close to par with Live.

And an even bigger point is that we didn't even know the venue till the day before. Oh yeah, I was first in line for the very first TGF show! Eat it bitches! Hahahaha.
