A person in attendance I found on Facebook. He said they were lucky to have 100 people at the show that night.

Wow it must have been a terrible show then!

You keep throwing out this 100 fans number. Source please. I'm not saying it was a huge crowd, but until I get word from someone who was, ya know, actually there regarding the size of the crowd, I sure as hell am not taking your word for it.

TGF had more than that at Fat Daddy's. And mind you, Fat Daddy's is normally closed on Thursdays. They opened specifically for TGF. So this is not just incidental traffic.

Oh yeah, and I know this because, unlike you at Summerfest, I was there.

I was there and there were between 150-200 throughout the show for all of these reasons:

1. They are a new band that wasn't advertised by Summerfest as members of Live and Candlebox.
2. Competing directly with 311, Tom Petty, Jeff Beck, Dirks Bently, and Public Enemy.
3. Being on the far end stage with no walking traffic.

Obviously we can never know, but I doubt Ed would have been successful in those conditions either.

More important than the crowd size is that these guys put on an amazing show and were extremely great to all the fans who were there. That spoke volumes to me because they could have easily mailed it in.

i don't mind all his talk about water because, given an ample water source, we should all stay hydrated in general. hopefully it reminds people to drink some agua.

Given who their "competition" for attention was, I'd say 150-200 is a pretty damn good number for a band that hasn't yet released an album yet. I mean geez.

Yeah, and number three doesn't help either. I had seen Live at a music festival in NJ when they were promoting Radiant Sea. While it sounds like the festival in NJ was setup better in terms of accessibility, one still had to made decisions based partially on how easy it was to get to good listening distance of one of the bands.

Thanks for the update, funky!

Wow. Ed really gets shit on around here.

What's crazy is we were the same fans who adored him about 10-15 years ago.

What happened? no.gif

Let me 'splain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up.

Ed became a narcissistic shit apparently leading others to mistake him for a dung hole. Thus shit piled on shit.

lol.

Hey, have you guys ever wondered if the TGF guys have accounts on here and shit on Ed, too? That would be hilarious if they did.

Considering how they shit on Ed a bit on Twitter, would it not surprise you if they were here, too?

Oh, I'm pretty sure you can bet on that! There are some very vocal "new" posters (from the last few months) who definitely seem to have a really, really, really big chip on their shoulders when it comes to Ed.

Now the big question is... is Ed around and which poster is he?

The points he made sound like the exact sort of points you'd be throwing out if Ed happend to get a small turn out at a festival.

Actually at least two of the TGF guys do have accounts on here, but they haven't posted anything about Ed.
