Is Ed's advertising saying "Come to my concert, I'll play lots of Live songs!" ... it's not. And it shouldn't.

The Distance to Here qualifies as classic Live too. To some it ranks as some of the band's best work.

TDTH was such a departure though from the previous 3 albums. The first 3 albums dealt with politics, cultural issues, anger, and weren't focused on the sappy love bullshit. Its no wonder they appealed to a broader audience. Classic Live is and will always be the first 3 albums. TDTH is a great cd, but its not TC, MJ, or SS.

That is your opinion. I think TDTH is a much greater CD than MJ or SS. It is just a more complete work, and the songs for me have more meaning. To each his own.

Lol Jesus Christ, I was actually giving Ed some credit by saying he wasn't advertising that way. You've just proved me wrong and I'll retract my statement and instead say that's really sad.

However based on your own views of success and the music industry, TDTH wasn't the better album, since it was out sold. I'll take Beauty of Grey, 10,000 Years, Good Pain as being loaded with more meaning and culturally significant themes over anything that TDTH had to offer.

TDTH didn't sell as well as SS in the US becuase it didn't come after Throwing Copper. SS actually killed a big junk of Live's popularity in the states. TDTH was a much bigger hit overseas than SS though.

Glad to see you ignored the other half of my post. I'd like to see the numbers for the total sales of each album. Just rename the EK fan club to "Ed's happy sappy fun bunch" and be done with it.

SS- H. Pos.: 4 / weken: 32
TDTH- H. Pos.: 2 / weken: 82

I didn't say a word about chart position you moron. I don't give a damn about that. I recall talking about album sales, because after all that's all that matters according to you.

The fact that you know this shit off the top of your head or without much looking around is kind of scary ... I've never seen someone so obsessed/focused on sales and marketing and charting over the actual music before..

Don't all of you realize that there is no point in arguing with Nick? Just let him have his mediocre music and be done with it.

Why do you feel the need to get insulting?

1. I'm an asshole
2. I get annoyed with people who can't read, and have no clue what they are talking about.
3. Again, I'm an asshole.
4. You annoy me because you are so blind with your allegiance to Ed and fail to see him for what he truly is.

How is my allegiance to Ed any different from your allegiance to TGF?
