I have noticed that there appears to be basic lack of understanding of what the term "cheating" means displayed in this argument

However, I think many of the arguments made by TGF fans on this thread are just absurd.

That was one of the things I was trying to bring out in my post of contradictory quotes: the absurdity.

Either way, once again, I don't really understand what any of this has to do with the original subject matter of that debate. This thread has strayed so far from its beginnings that it is comical.

The whole "cheatin" article should be its own thread. I keep expecting someone to say something relevant to the article and being disappointed. Hey Nick, care to subthread?

Also, can we just get one thread where Nick and OTD can argue by themselves?

Honest Man is worse, and I wasn't even a fan of Believe. The screeching vocals are unbearable and it is almost impossible to decipher the lyrics.

So it seems like you just jump on whatever bandwagon Ed is on without even really thinking about what you're saying or doing.

What makes Honest Man bad for me, is not the music, but the vocals.

Believe was the first Live song that I heard, and didn't immediately like(not that it was all bad because the song had some nice elements).

NU.nl had a recent interview with Ed as well. I'm too lazy to translate, but Ed says in it that nothing is impossible in the future. He doesnt want to exclude ANYTHING. Ed: "Live's on hiatus for an indefenite period".

Also, he says he would like to form a supergroup (do I hear "TGF" here?? although it's not really a supergroup). Ed: "A supergroup like Them Crooked Vultures or Chickenfoot. I barbeque with Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine a lot. Maybe I should suggest him the idea, haha".

This is one argument that shouldn't engage in. For all the shit I take, the one thing I am is perceptive. I posted after the NH show that Live was done just from their lack of stage interactions. Everyone ripped me a new a-hole, but it was true.

Chad, Pat, and Chad acted like passive aggressive teenagers on stage in NY and especially Cleveland. They tried to undermine Ed, but just came off looking ridiculous themselves.

Nick, are you talking about the Westbury NY show? The last one? Because I was there and I thought chad, chad pat & ed looked tired. I don't remember anyone trying to undermine anyone. I'm not even sure how this would happen on stage.
I like Ed's music. So far I like what I've heard of TGF (lest anyone think I'm solidly in one camp or another...I'm not. I'm about the music. It so happens I like both).
