*sigh*

My post wasn't intended nearly as literally as you took it. It was more of a "Seriously, this argument has ended up here?" post. I thought your initial point about the vocals was fine, but the argument derailing from there was just nonsense.

Next time I'll just say that.

If there ever is a time when I really truly don't understand what you are saying, I will approach it by asking questions, not by simply saying "I don't understand." These message board arguments aren't exactly rocket science.

alright

I thought Purifier was a ripoff of that song they covered post 2005, God something something.

God Don't Never Change by Blind Willie Nelson and your statement is complete BS. It is not a rip-off.

Out of all the thread I really enjoyed an empty post by Bremang, who was quoting the empty post by Bremang and the liner said: Edited by Bremang.

Speaks for itself actually

I thought that was hilarious.........so wrapped up in a circular dog chase that he is quoting himself in white space.

The only thing their cover "ripped off" was the basic melody of the chorus. But, it was a cover. The music for the rest of the song was new, and when they reworked it to Purifier, the melody was changed. So, the music came first and the melody later, but Purifier is an original song and no rip off.

So it seems like you just jump on whatever bandwagon Ed is on without even really thinking about what you're saying or doing.

Yeah he's just gonna ignore this again unfortunatly, whenever he is beaten with logic or evidence he goes into his shell until someone like mattyeagles posts and he can just add on "good post". I say put this in your signature that way it's always there as a reminder to him every time he see's you post tongue.gif

Also on the whole "then how come CT wrote on purifier and believe??"

I think I answered that in the bootleg thread

I wrote in the summons thread:

"29. In 2005, Kowalczyk presented the Plaintiffs with an ultimatum: Kowalczyk would quit the group LIVE unless Plaintiffs agreed to give Kowalczyk (or Kowalczyk’s designee) sole writing credit for all songs embodied on hture LIVE albums."

So maybe I'm wrong here, but does the designee part mean that Ed gets sole writing credits unless he nominates someone else to write with and share the credits? If so then Believe and Purifier would be perfect examples, Ed is in total control of who he accepts to take part in the writing credit.

Here are some photos that I have of Ed singing Sweet Release from a Lyric sheet on September 14, 2007 at the Bottle and Cork in Dewey Beach, Delaware. It wasn't a cover or a new song. This is an example of a song that I wish he would have memorized the lines to before he took the stage and performed it.

Maybe it is not that big of a deal, but I only mentioned this issue in the first place to compare it to Chad and Pat "cheating the fans" when they were talking and giggling during Forever. Maybe both examples of "cheating the fans" is not a big deal. Who cares. The thing that really cheated Live fans was the change in creative direction after TDTH and the destruction of the band. If all four of them were to blame for those two things to varying degrees, then all four of them share some of the blame. Taking over creative control, accepting ultimatums, silently allowing the friendship and internal band communications to get that far gone that it resulted in all of this. You know what they say, it takes 4 to tango.

By the way, I have like thousands of photos of Live on my computer. I have been thinking of setting up a photo website to pay homage to Live. I hope to be able to shoot photos of Ed and TGF and then I could add to the site.
