There are so many Livesongs that are important to me in a way. The whole break up thing is not gonna change that....

I alone...whoa that one goes back a long way down memory lane...

TMH, which actually was the first song I heard when my daughter was born (played on the radio)

TDC, which made my girl (then 1,5 years old) rock off her diaper. Which was absolutely hilarious. AND she didn't do it the one time, every time that song was on (and it was often) she came running to the tv or the radio and rocked her socks off.

DWY, which hands down will be one of the most important songs in my life. Will be played at my funeral even (but let's hope that one will take a while..... hahaha)

I could just go on and on on different songs.... man, there's lots

Mentally Jewelry will always be my favorite as well, it's as close to a perfect disc as you'll ever see, especially considering their age at the time, it makes it all that more impressive. I heard the first crash of the snare on PLOTR and was hooked. I was just thinking about that and than saw this thread. I thought about it becasue on the way to work yesterday I decided to give the radio a try to change things up. I'm pulling into work and in the background while the DJ is talking I hear a familiar voice. Turns out it's Ed and that abortion Grace. UGH! I couldn't have handled another Live album like that. So boring and formula it was a travesty. I get into work and the 1st song that pops up on my shuffle is 10,000 Years from the Millet Hall boot in 95. Talk about night and day, really made me sad that it will never be like that again. I don't see them reuniting, the 2 musical directions are such complete polar opposites I just can't see them working on new material ever again. If you don't have the Millet Hall boot, it's a goodie. I thought it was on the multimedia section here, but don't recall. It's classic, the passion, the energy, the set list, man I miss those times. Reminded me of seeing them in Washington, DC at Radio Music Hall (now the 930 club, but a absolute dump than) early in the TC tour. Yes, I'm an old foogie of 40. One of my favorite shows from any artist all time, the place was smaller than many peoples living rooms, warm beer was being sold out of a keg at a fold up card table, there was no barrier between the stage if I remember correctly, it was so intimate and full of energy. Man, it was the greatest. That will be one of those memories that flashes on my death bed for sure.

Oh, on a side note, the opening band was Weezer, the blue album had just come out and they had a heavy sound live than, don't know about nowadays.

OK, I've never posted files OL before, actually my few posts on here are most anywhere...so yeah, slacker I know. I imagine there's a thread u can direct me to to post. I see mediafire mentioned quite often. Is that free and OK? I do recall they're old files and BIG MP3's, they're on 2 CD's, hey 1995 show, it is what it is, ya know. Will take a bit to post, won't be home until next Sun. I imagine one of the versions of Chetah out there came from this show, 3-24-95 Oxford, Ohio

Mediafire is fine I think for everyone here and it is free, and you can just create your own thread for it in the multimedia forum - http://www.fansoflive.com/forums/index.php?showforum=7

I think it'd be a very welcome post smile.gif

On the bright side, the single *is* getting airplay. laugh.gif

OK, good deal. Thanks Pokey. Like I said earlier, I won't be home until Sunday. Will try to get it up Sun or Mon for everyone. Sorry if I was unknowingly sitting on something that wasn't to circulated. Pretty sure I got it from good old bootleg heaven though.

Once it's posted and you hear 10,000 Years, you'll understand the sadness I had after hearing that stinker Teen Beat bubble gum pop Grace to than immediately hearing 10,000 Y next. The best way I can describe it is, it was like the feeling of breaking out some old home movies and seeing a relative that passed and you know you'll never see them again. A sad, sad, empty feeling.

That is the best way to describe it indeed. Much better than all the talks about the divorse etc

Hey OTD & Pokey...I just posted that show and created a thread. Sorry for the wait, but I was away from the homestead. Glad to be able to contribute something besides my sarcastic remarks!!
