I was at the show, and it was obvious that they were half-assing it during the song. It was also as if playing Forever was beneath them. That is how it came across to me during the show.

Whatever Ed may or may not have done to them, they would have been much better off taking the high road. Instead they have acted like bitter children since the break-up. Running down Ed and announcing lawsuit in a public blog just shows a lack of class and brains. They tried to gain sympathy and hurt Ed, but they ended up hurting themselves as well.

I can't believe that this thread may have possibly driven sallyinpa away from the message board. I've known who sallyinpa is for about 8 years now when I met her on the friendsoflive chat room and, frankly, I was surprised that she even contributed here at all in the first place. But if she is gone, it is a loss to us all, because she speaks truth from inside knowledge. I can understand how infuriating it can be to read some of this stuff if you know it's untrue and mischaracterizations. Internet message boards are not worth it if they start to effect your piece of mind.

As for the youtube clip - I must agree - Nick your position is clouded by your bias. In the old days if people saw that in concert they would say "isn't that really great that the guys rerally seem to be enjoying themselves on stage." They got together in one spot on the stage. They laughed it up and talked and had a good time. Wasn't this one of the final shows? Maybe they were just lightening up and being silly because Live was coming to an end. No one knows what they were talking about but them.

Threads like this are about the most entertaining thing I can find anywhere - TV, movies, radio, internet. I love this stuff. This is so entertaining!

It's kind of sad how every thread in the Ned side of this forum becomes a 1 v. 100 with Ned and the rest of us. I think only he cares about what Ned is doing unfortunately.

Whether you like the new music or not, I feel Ed has never half-assed a song in concert that I've personally seen, like the rest of the band did with Forever.

You can argue Ed cheats the fans, just as I can argue that Pat and the Chad's have done the same.

Some Live fans did yes, while others are with Ed, and still some are with both groups or neither projects. It runs the sprectrum.
