This is an absolute outrage!! How dare they talk to each other during the show, how dare they know how to play these same few songs over and over and over that they can still play perfectly whilst having a chat! This absolutely has changed my mind and I am now with Ed 100% of the way, the poor guy, I can't believe he had to put up with THIS!

lol

Pokey, you weren't there. It was obvious to keen eyes in attendance that the guys were staging a protest during Forever. Ed and Adam were performing their butts and the rest were acting like they couldn't be bothered. It made me lose respect for them as performers.

lol you're hilarious "to the keen eye!". If I was there I'd probably find the whole thing quite hilarious. I love how this makes you lose respect for the other guys, yet absolutely everything that has been mounting about Ed and your respect levels stay at maximum!

You still haven't said exactly what they were doing besides looking disinterested. I'd applaud them for "staging a protest" during Forever, I wouldn't want to play that song either. Can you honestly say that after everything Ed had done, and this would have come right around the time he was asking for his lead singer bonuses that you'd have the same sort of enthusiasim that Ed has? You're completely ridiculous.

It's not as if they threw the entire concert and made it completely unbarable. I just can't believe that given everything that Ed has done and the things he's been accused of doing that some people think that this is the most unforgivable act out of the whole affair.

It just showed a total lack of professionalism. It was as if they were taking their ball and going home while a paying audience was in attendance. They had two shows left as Live, suck it up and play your hearts out.

How many Live songs can you play on guitar, bass and drums to judge?

Pretty sure they had their hearts ripped out by their "friend" at that stage enough.

Once again you keep dodging it, what exactly did they do?? All you've said is that they looked disinterested and they stood in a group and laughed a bit ... god if that's all it was you're really making a massive deal about nothing. Not everyone has that finely tuned radar that you have that can tell when Ed is being made fun of. Most people probably didn't bat an eyelid at it. And if they did hopefully their thought pattern would be "god I'm glad it seems the other guys hate this song as much as I do, cant wait till they play something good like White, Discussion" ... I'm sure they didn't "ruin" the entire gig and stilled rocked out for other songs.

This debate is hilarious to anyone who has ever actually been on stage with a band.

I hear you here haha

The fact these guys also have had to play the same songs night in night out for years, I'm surprised they didn't start looking disinterested a long time sooner. I bet it still sounded absolutely perfect because the guys could probably carry on a discussion about the global economic state of the world whilst still playing the music they've had to do it that many times .. not the mention the complete complex nature of songs like Forever!
