oh wait.. Ed has been at this for 38 years, 11 months and 25 days.. then again, Al Gore didnt invent the internet until 1989-

Only 6 days longer than Gracey, and 6 weeks longer than Pat but nearly 8 months less than Chad T.

There are 3 obvious flaws with the Billboard.

1. The Gracious Few logo is very hard to read if someone does not already know what the band is called. This is tenfold when driving past a billboard at 70 miles per hour.

2. An effective Billboard is simple and usually contains under 8 words or less. TGF's billboard is convoluted and contains over 20 words.

3. There waste most of the space on the billboard on a picture of 5 individuals(4 with sunglasses) that are unrecognizable to 99 percent of the population. Focus on the brand, your faces are not needed.

Aren't their faces part of the brand, to an extent?

The problem is that they were trying to convey too much information in a billboard that people will see for 1 second as they drive at 70 mph.

A billboard on the highway has to be clear and simple to be effective.

Unless you've seen the billboard in person, know who put up the billboard and how much if anything they paid your analysis means nothing. In actuality it might be quite effective given the facts.

It would be more effective with a clearer logo, and less info.

Perhaps, but that seems like a really minor point to continually belabor when in reality you know nothing about the circumstances that resulted in the billboard.

Just like your posts: they should be more effective with clearer plot and less info

Yes because your marketing ideas for Ned/late Live worked REAL well.

Stick with your day job bud.
