I moved out of Jersey last Sept to California and the property taxes suck in Jersey along with the car ins, rent, food, etc.....

Everything out here is much less expensive......

yet I also took a 15,000.00 per year pay cut

THAT SUCKED.

The property is beyond beautiful.
I was just in Ojai on Sunday and was considering Ed a lucky SOB because they have a Jersey Mikes Sub place. Something I sorely miss not being in Jersey anymore. Guess it's not enough to keep him there!!!

Everything in Jersey is expensive I agree. The only things that keep me here are my family, friends and the beach. Also my job. I don't think I would make this kind of money elsewhere.

The place looks un-lived in...don't you think? Really sparse looking - unless they packed up to make the place look bigger. Probably already moved on.

Interesting area. I'd prefer the beach.

Yeah I also think it's a turd in a desert. The location blows, the house has no charm or identity. It is nice and big, sure, but you couldn't pay me to live there, especially without knowing what the fuck the bald man did in there.

rediculous....you have beach and mountains close by. near santa barbara too which is pretty nice, LA if you need a city. F'ing beautiful property and house and guest house with a studio inside.

Maybe I am starting to not like where I live. A couple of weeks ago a NJ State Trooper got hit and killed on 195. He was on the side of the road checking out a car that was abandoned that could possibly be linked to a robbery. This morning I was heading to work and there was tons of cops and ther was state troopers in the median with shotguns. Apparently a State Trooper got shot in the head on Exit 98.


OMG! What the hell is this world coming to?!

Damn, it sucks having to sell your house (unless you're moving to a nicer house, then it still sucks, only slightly less). I don't wish that on anyone. People disengage their brains when they look at used houses. I hope to never have to sell my home again, though I know that is unlikely to happen. It's a brutally awful feeling having to vacate your house for an hour while some morons piss and moan about how they can't get over the paint color, or how the couches look in a particular room.

Moving my rant to another subject, to hell with the down economy. I'd have jumped all over that property with some price haggling despite it being SoCal.
