..because he still has SOfia on that record happy.gif

You can't say Ed wrote the album and blame him for it not performing to expectations, but then what credit on a publishing deal.

Chad Taylor and Chad Gracey have continually knocked SFBM in public. Why would they be willing to go to court and begin a costly fight for the publishing rights to those songs?

You obviously just didn't read his post.

First of all, you are assuming that the publishing deal was just concerning SFBM. We don't know that.

Second of all, you really don't see the problem with doing that behind someone's back?

Smartly for who? You? Because you don't have to hear someone else tearing down your precious EK? I for one would love to hear more from Pat, whatever he has to say ... although clearly he's always been more private.

Shame he didn't do more podcasts, that first one he did was great.

There's no problem at all, if Nick were ruling the world we'd all just be going around doing and saying whatever we want without any regard for anyone else. Friendships, honesty.. these sorts of things don't matter so long as you're earning money and charting well smile.gif

According to Chad Taylor, the contract was signed around the time of Songs from Black Mountain's release. I believe the rights to V/BOP are owned by Radioactive/Geffen, I could be wrong though.

That is the music industry in a nutshell, especially the Christian music industry which Eddie K seems to be heading towards.

We don't know the specifics, and I won't venture a guess.

But that doesn't mean you know what was in the contract... ah forget it.

You keep ignoring the most important part of my posts. Clearly you would gladly fuck everyone else over if it meant more money for you. That is just sad, man.

But you were ready to throw Ed in jail for "stealing money" just a few hours ago. If you don't know the specifics of this "secret contract" why would you be willing to do that?

Both of you guys just make things up and argue about them, that's why you butt heads all the time. Give it a rest for the rest of us please.
