Music aside here, creative direction was dictator like. I don't give a rats as if Nick thinks Ed's shit doesn't stink. Nick, answer me this.....you appear on the surface to be very unforgiving and unrelenting...almost downright spoiled. Did you ever work hard in your life to achieve anything? These guys did for one direction then one's ambitions changed that and we know what happened.

Ned, that statement makes it even more perplexing why you can't see any flaws in Ed. If you would just once go on the record as Ed not being perfect you probably wouldn't catch so much heat (Side note, I give you props and much respect for stepping down) Nobody is perfect. We all have flaws. I have flaws, hell, many of them. You have them, the Chads & Pat have them, Ed has them. If we didn't we wouldn't be human...even if we were taken up to zion...sorry, couldn't help myself with that one, long day of drinking and it just popped into my head..who said beer stumps creativity, they must have been sober

Actually Ed isn't perfect, but neither are Chad, Pat, and Chad. Even if Ed was more at fault for the break-up, the rest of the guys are at least partly responsible.

I responded to someone calling Ed spineless, by pointing out that the other 3 members of Live basically allowed Ed to control the band the past 10 years(seemingly against their will).

I will not TGF bash unprovoked. But if certain members continue to bash Ed, I think I am in my rights to respond. Especially since I'm not a moderator of this forum, just a member with the ability to post.

I knew your stepping down as moderator of the TGF forums was more of a white flag than any acceptance of anything you did wrong. Now you're going to try to hide behind the fact that you're no longer the moderator and somehow it's okay to keep posting the same BS, dismiss C,C&P, deflect attention away from what Ed did and it's somehow okay. For once I'd like to hear you come to Ed's defense by actually offering up a supportive argument(not dismissive) as to why it's acceptable for him to have taken over the band, which you obviously agree he did.

Supportive argument as to why it was better for Ed to have taken over the band: When Ed was writing the bulk of the material on his own, SFBM for instance, it was became much more popular than earlier work like Throw ... oh wait.

He's Ned remember ... he's one and the same with Ed, so in a way, he is part of the band. It's sort of like you need a 3 leaf clover to explain it properly, on 1 clove you have Ed, on another you have Nick, and on the third one you have a pendant.
