I vote for never. The energy I saw last Thursday at TGF show was something I have not seen from Live in over 10 years. I don't think that Live could ever rekindle that energy either. I've moved on. I'll always remember the first 4 albums and how they helped shape my life, but its time to rock out with TGF.

What are you going to do when Kevin and Candlebox release a new album in the near future and TGF is on hiatus?

Probably find some other good new music to enjoy. You, on the other hand, when Ed goes on hiatus....you'll probably need to be involuntarily committed. A Nick without Ed's dick in his mouth is a Nick who has lost his way.

When Chad, Chad and Pat take a TGF hiatus and get another singer to front Live, will you organize the NJ National Guard against them.

I think we will see LIVE again - but without Ed Kowalczyk.

I think that Chad, Chad and Pat are classier then that. Being that Ed was the very distinctive lead vocalist and "face" of the band, it wouldn't be right to go out and tour without him under the name LIVE.

I'm listening to Gracious Few's stuff and it really reminds me of the harder rocking Throwing Copper era days.... If Ed could wake up out of the trance he's been in the last 10 years and write some lyrics and sing with that intensity LIVE could really kick some ass again....

I'm already used to there being roughly 3 years between Live albums anyway. In fact, I've been waiting since 1999 for the next good Live album anyway. My patience is very strong. Besides, The Gracious Few are not the only band that I listen to. In fact there are many bands that will keep me happy with new music.

If Alice In Chains can pull it off without Layne, I think that Live could be able to pull it off as well.

I think the circumstances for that band are very different, if Layne Staley was still in the land of the living do you think they would have reunited without him under their old name?

Even so, as a cohesive unit that band wasn't really together for much more than 10 years. Also, on their last original material album another member of the band was lead vocalist on three of the four singles. Not being a big Alice In Chains fan myself do any fans on this board think reuniting was worth it or just a cash grab?

I was thinking about this further and usually when bands continue without their founding/principal lead vocalists it's often for tragic reasons...as in they died. INXS, AC/DC, Queen, the Doors are ones I can think of off the top of my head. In the long term history shows only AC/DC really pulled it off.......

Close but no cigar, Ed was in the band twice as long as either Roth or Hagar were in Van Halen....

I am not under 30, that song list carries a humorous undertone to my joke post.
