Heaven and Overcome were huge hits in Holland. Even The River got very strong airplay in The Netherlands. All three songs would have to be included in a complilation.

They got some airplay here too.

What are you trying to do? Introduce common sense to the discussion? hehe.gif

Hey, we deal in dreams (possibly another inclusion) here, we don't want to be shot down point blank....... smile.gif

Actually, depending on the european/Netherlands label licensing of their material it's possible the band members have no say in the matter anyway....

Ha, maybe THIS is the financial treachery on Ed's part that pissed off the other guys! He sold a 3 disk Greatest Hits CD and never told them!

(And it's 50 different remixes of OK?...!)

It's not the first time that an unofficial best of album has been released by a record label.

A few years ago, BMG manufactured one for Live.

1. Lakini's Juice
2. Lightning Crashes
3. Overcome
4. I Alone
5. Simple Creed
6. The Beauty of Gray
7. Call Me a Fool
8. The Dolphin's Cry
9. Nobody Knows
10. Turn My Head
11. Run to the Water
12. Selling the Drama
13. Pain Lies on the Riverside
14. 10,000 Years (Peace is Now)
15. All Over You
16. Operation Spirit
17. They Stood Up for Love
18. You Are the World

i agree, kick ass as a new album, but if you select 18 songs off their 5 (and possibly 6 albums already at that time) that you choose Call Me a Fool or Nobody Knows? eh.gif

I'm guessing this compilation came out shortly after V was released before it soaked it how disposable that album was. They already had Overcome, that's pretty much all you need, but even I would have chosen Simple Creed over Call Me A Fool or Nobody Knows....

It is listed at at least seven music store sites.... really strange.
And no one to ask that can give some more info.

Plive, besides the link mentioned at the beginning of the thread, can you pass on links to the other stores that you found this release on? Being from the states, my familiarity with European online new music stores is fairly limited to Amazon UK and HMV.

It also doesn't help that "Live - Collected" is about the most generic music related title you can search for.......

(speaking of that....anyone agree on how frustrating it can be to search for Live related items on the web when the term "Live the band" isn't used? That's a whole separate thread...)

Just search 0600753266519 (it is the EAN number mentioned). However I don't beleive this release is for real until it is possible to see more information about it.
