Not meant to be cryptic at all. It's public knowledge that legal proceedings are in place. Chad T. made that perfectly clear in his letter for all to read regarding the break up of Live. Bannished out to sea, doubt it but isn't it possible that he might find himself alone? Cheating/turning on your longtime friends will catch up with you in the end. Ya know what they say about that Kharma Bus.

I love the Karma Bus!!

ROFL! Ed is about to get owned like he should. The few dollars he'll make from this album are going to pay the other members of Live back.

Are these legal proceedings mentioned somewhere we can read up on them - being as their public knowledge and all?
I come from a family of lawyers and this kind of thing is like cream to a kitty.

Ed wrote pretty much every +LiVe+ song so the rest of the members don't have a legal leg to stand on! So pipe down! rockin.gif

That's not true. Certainly on the last 3 albums, and ironically they were complete shit.

Last 4 albums.

Actually the band had some serious input on TDTH.

Pat contributed lyrics on "Run to the Water" and "They Stood Up For Love".

Chad Taylor contributed lyrics to "Voodoo Lady" and "They Stood Up For Love".

They band contributed music to all of the songs.

So yes, I was correct. Ed wrote the last 3 albums, and they were complete shit.

Actually, you are incorrect. All lyrics on the album are credited to Ed. The music on Run to the Water, Voodoo Lady, and They Stood Up For Love are credited to multiple members of the band.

I was wrong and I was right. Ed didn't write all of the Live songs as someone said earlier. He wrote all of them on the last 3 albums, and like I said they were complete shit. I was wrong about the lyrics on TDTH, but I was correct that he didn't write the entire album.

The songs that had huge commercial success, were the ones that the band wrote together. Where Live went wrong was that the band didn't write together, and as a result the songs failed.

I thought I read that Ed wrote Lightning Crashes and I Alone on his acoustic guitar. Those were probably Live's most successful songs.

I guess my point was that he wrote most of the album of TDTH (except 3 songs). That's not much difference than Birds of Pray, which he wrote everything except for Like I Do and Lighthouse.

But I understand what you are saying. I personally didn't mind most of the last 3 albums, but I would have prefered the whole band contributing because like you said, the songs were a helluva lot better.

Actually Chad Taylor and Patrick Dalheimer are credited with music on both 'Like I Do' and 'Lighthouse' off Birds Of Pray....so Ed didn't do everything on the last 3 records.

Whilst I am a concscientious objector in this 'Ed V TGF War' I find it strange that the ever so commercial EK was beaten to the Itunes Australia punch by TGF - I bought 'Honest Man' this morning and been listening to it since....no sign of 'Grace' at all on Itunes Aus.

Yeah, the Kharma Bus.....I can't wait to see what becomes of that for Fast Eddie.

Hopefully all Live fans can get some recourse for the shit record we got in 2006. I applaud Patrick for allowing FOL members to get the obscure & wanted tracks in January as very nice gesture when the band wasn't obligated to do anything at all!!!

This is the most rediculous post ever written on here by said DMB fan. Insert letter U between D & M, and this post falls into that category
