I'm not really technically proficient in these things, is there a way to convert from PAL to NTSC? I would love have some of these concerts to play on the big screen instead of the computer.

Yes there are ways to convert from PAL to NTSC, but it may not be necessary because if your equipment is relatively new then may be able to play PAL material.

Anyway, check out this thread for a program that makes conversion easy. Note: there will be a drop in picture quality when you convert.

Thanks Dan! I have a relatively new Blu Ray player, so I'll hopefully it plays on it. If not, I'll try to convert it. I appreciate it!

Cool. Let me know how things pan out!

You can also buy inexpensive multi-region/format DVD players for around $40 that play DVDs from all over the world.

Something else you might want to consider purchasing is a media player. Something like the WDTV or WDTV Live. Basically it's a small box that you connect up to your TV (either via HDMI/Composite/Component cables) and then you plug in a USB hard drive or Flash drive which stores all your movies (either in DVD format, XviD, DivX, MKV etc). The WDTV Live model also features an ethernet connection so you can connect it to you home network. More info can be found at: http://www.wdtv.com.au

Well, my Blu Ray player wouldn't play the DVD. I have a question on the media player, would those let me play PAL format DVD's? I was thinking of purchasing something like this, but I'm a bit unfamiliar with it. Are they worth it?

Yeah, a media player will play PAL format DVDs.

That Asus O!Play HD looks like a pretty good product. Make sure you read a few reviews to ensure that it's right for you. I found a video of the product on YouTube which shows an unboxing and what the GUI looks like. Wish the reviewer came with the box smile.gif

Thanks again for your help, Dan.

Check the first post of this thread. I've now added a link to this DVD. I'm still uploading so it will be a few hours before all parts are available.

Please note: The version I have uploaded is the original version. It is missing "Run Away" and "Lightning Crashes", but it does include the Jensen! interview and acoustic performances. The menu on the one I've uploaded is basic.

I can still see it... There might have been a temporary issue with the image host.
