for the record nick, my response to your first post was just an easy pot shot coz its funny to do that. Im still gonna buy eds damn album and have always intended to. lead singer of my favourite band brings out an album, for me its a no brainer. its just too hard not to take the piss

I bought this site to keep Live's name out there. I also didn't want SOY to be the only option for fans to communicate about Live, because I did not like how things were run there.

I volunteer for Ed because I love his music. Before I volunteered for Ed, I held the same beliefs and nothing has changed other than I have more responsibility now than I did before.

To me, I think it is pointless for a huge Ed fan like myself to keep a message board running that basically just puts the guy down. What is the benefit, especially since Facebook has given fans another means of communication?

based on your argument (which i think is flawed-see below) what is the benefit to keeping Live's name out there if you talk smack about TGF? there is a level of hypocrisy here, that you fail to recognize.. dont complain about a behavior you yourself engage in.. (albeit with nicer words than most folks here )

MANY folks here-in moving forward- have chosen one over the other for WHATEVER reasons (the music itself, peoples take on the various band member behaviors (e.g., Ed or the Chads) etc..)

frankly, i think the heated debates are good for Live in the long run- folks here are engaged and passionate, whatever their leanings might be.

For example, i think the discussion over Lakini's Juice- was great to read from BOTH sides (i for one, would prefer to see neither band play that song)

Great post. I think the passion for Live on this site is amazing and it is unavoidable that sides were taken. I dont have a problem with that and heated debate is always good, and thanks for the forum to do so.
