Well if its a Universal Music Group release we won't see any songs from SFBM on it due to the fact that it was released under Epic/Red Ink which is a Sony Music Entertainment label.

True, so you put in Heaven and Overcome plus a few b-sides.

Hopefully a lot of b-sides (since they have to fill 3 disks).... would be horrible if it's 'just' a mix of the full albums minus some songs (which would be everything from V backwards).

I wonder if there will be b-sides inclused. Usually recordcompanies know that fans will buy b-sides. Then again it also depends on wheter the bandmembers are involved in this release. If Ed will have anything to say, we will see ZERO b-sides. Pat, Chad and Chad however may be proud of their unreleased work, as they showed with last years FOL Holyday gift.

EXACTLY my point..... cause that would indeed mean there's just a freaky compilation of all the disks. Disk 1 being SS, disk 2 being Tdth & disk 3 being V..... no one would buy it (seriously... even my mom... who dislikes live...has those)

It would be horrible. At least 2 b-sides per disk would be accepted (but it totally depends on which b-sides)

As much as I love Live, I can't see a record company releasing a 3 disk greatest hits album. Live only has 7 albums (6 on Universal) plus it's not like they are at the height of their popularity. I can't see a big market for it. If this ever comes out, I could see a lot of b-sides (didn't TDTH have 30 songs recorded for it?) and maybe a re-mastered Death of a Dictionary if Live gives permission for it. Plus, maybe some concert tracks. Maybe someone should ask on TGF FB page. I'm sure they'll "like" it lol.gif

The best thing is to get a CD with 1 Cd - singles (yea, we have it already), 2 Cd - live performances (oh, wait, we already have Radiant Sea!) and 3 Cd - bsides (we all do need New City and... that;'s about it I figure?)....

Hmmmzz....

Another greatest hits album, eh? How many great hits have they added to their collection since Awake?

Not enough to arrant a new CD. But yeah, this could be good if they make with the b-sides, New City, Hold Me Up mastered etc. If it's full of live editions I'll be pissed cause we've got all that shit a million times over.

taking another look at the link-- the word "hits" (or "great") doesnt appear.. it says "COLLECTED" sounds like b-sides would need to be there.. and that would be real cool..

Heaven and Overcome were huge hits in Holland. Even The River got very strong airplay in The Netherlands. All three songs would have to be included in a complilation.

Yeah but I swear Live could sell bottled vomit in Holland and it would be a huge hit, they're that popular over there. But I like the songs and agree they should make any compilation. Though this totally isn't necessary unless we're getting unheard/unreleased/re-mastered shit, as I've got enough versions of PLOTR as it is. Like the potential album cover though, the photos from TDTH era were very good smile.gif

I thought 'collected' was a promising title. I'm sure we've all got the greatest hits anyway...

Did anyone notice that the picture says "3 CD 50 tracks". The writing is very pixelized but that's what it looks like.

50 tracks spread over 3 cds would average 16-17 tracks each, this is definitely not a compilation of standard albums...

It seems hard to believe that something with unique tracks could sneak in under the radar like this, but we can keep our fingers crossed.....

Make it happen, Live. The band ended so abruptly (their last show was in Long Island of all places), that I think this would bring many fans some closure.

Now, if they are too busy with their new projects...I'll glad gladly help out and put this thing together smile.gif
