I'm such a dick for not going to this show. I will be at The Chameleon, if and when that shit goes down.

Thanks for all the updates.

I'm sorry but the only way you would have been bored would be if you are blind and deaf. You're a complete hack, making a statement like that.

I will say that I finally crashed around 2am and was up for work at 6am, and I'm still amped up from last night.

Not everyone likes the same type of music. uhoh.gif Some people prefer music that's catchy, has killer melodies, and isn't so heavy. I used to be able to tolerate heavy metal/classic rock, but now I can't stand it. So I probably would have been bored too.

I know this doesn't help, but it was truly a once in a lifetime type of show. Their first show as a band, they were nervous. The crowd not knowing exactly what to expect, only to get fucking blown away. Honestly, people were a little shocked just how tight they were as a group and just how aggressive the music was. It was intense, and even that doesn't describe it. The small venue made it even better because it was a more personal show. Hell I had to help part the crowd just so the band could get on and off the stage. When they played, they were in fact trapped on the stage. It was sick. When I met them earlier that day, I kept telling them thank you and that I wouldn't miss this for anything. They might be The Gracious Few but we're sure as hell The Gracious Fans.

Oh there were certainly some great catchy parts and killer melodies. In fact there were some really great technical parts. A few of the songs had a really kick ass blues feel to them.

Perfectly said my friend. MAJOR props for scoring that drum head!!!! To the small world of people here on the boards, that little gem is priceless and I know that you will treasure it forever.

Thanks to everyone who's posted links and info about the show. I wish I could have been there, but to make up for it, I PROMISE to keep the love flowin' at the Troubadour.

Congrats to the guys for a show that truely sounds like a once in a lifetime experience.

Here's a question that may actually be answerable to the people who went - how was the closing song? From reading the bio it was the only one they recorded that sounded a little weak to me. I am hoping it was just the way the bio was written, so if anyone could weigh in on what the song sounded like that would be really sweet.

I can't hear a damn thing from my left ear, and my arms hurt like hell from the sunburn, but it was worth it.

As I walked out of the club last night an intense lightning storm was starting up. I got in my car and just sat there for a few minutes to gather my thoughts and all I could think about is how in this little town of York, Pa, lightning really has struck twice for Chad, Chad, and Pat.

Yeah, i bet. What a rush. I remember seeing Live my first time after years of wanting to get to show. I had the same feeling......let me collect myself, let it sink in....I was blown away from seeing/hearing it finally.
Hearing Iris & Gas Hed played were simply unbelievable and brought chills that I still can remember to this day.

I actually really liked it even though it was a little more mellow. The lyrics said something about "waiting so long to sing MY song!" I saw both Pat and Chad with their eyes closed singing along. It was obvious that the song had meaning to them and that made it even better. Kevin's vocals were absolutey amazing on every song including this one! I wouldn't rank it up there with my favorites from the show but it was still really good. Of course in my opinion every single fucking song was good for one reason or another! It's just good quality, kick you in the face rock and god I have missed that!

People are starting to show up but they're staying in their cars. Bitches!

I've been interviewed by the local news and paper, this should be good since I called in sick today.

HAHAHAHA, that's fucking awesome man, seriously. Called in sick and ended up on the local fucking news!!! Classic! guitar.gif

Congrats on the drum head and everything, good for you bro. thumbsup.gif

Okay cool, it sounded like it had a lot of meaning, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't lame!

I hope at some point those that went could give a little recollection (like this) of some of the other new ones they played. I know that isn't easy, but it would be cool to get some more information!!

At least they rethought the only obscure Live/Candlebox nonsense. You have to play crowdpleasers like Lakini's Juice and Far Behind!

Yeah, shut up asshole and take your fanboy bullshit somewhere else. fuckin' idiot.

At one point I was getting interviewed by the paper and the reporter asked me if it would be different seeing a different singer with the band. We had to edit my reply, while she agreed and laughed, she said that we couldn't put that in the paper. It had something to do with the phrase "Ed is a douchebag".

Hmm I may have said something similiar! I did say "you're not gonna print that are you?!" She just laughed at me and obviously didn't print it! I'm happy to have made the article though. That's my second time to have been in an article about Live in that paper!
