There was no smear, only what crazy stated. He was cordial with the communication and went so far to give praise for Ed's major contributions to the band. Why is that lost on some people. And why can't people accept that silence on the other end means 2 things, Attorney gag order, Guilt & Shame.....make that 3 things.....apathy.

Wow.....that was an enjoyable read. But i'm sure i've read alot of this before.

Very well done by TGF.....(contractual or not).

P.S. Don't see anything on Eds site promoting TGF (Maybe Nick can do something on facebook, instead of talking shit on here).

I will fall over backwards laughing if I see Ed Kowalcyzk (Admin Nick) make nice nice on his page with a shout out. It's not something i feel he has any balls to do....no offense to Nick.

haha that would be awesome if Nick did that .. but I fear Ed would disown him if that happend.

I guess it would be one way though to bring Nick back down to Earth and have him see just how fantastic his idol actually is!

The thing that makes me question the whole contractual thing is that TGF also left the part about Ed in when they posted it to their Facebook and Twitter etc.. surely if they were only putting it in the email because they had to they would leave it out of the other forms of communication.

Very true. If it was contractually required, it would have to be in all communications me thinks.
It's simply a turning of the page, time passed, less angry, more distance, new music ready to be released, new shows, everything done their way....,.I can continue.

Well it was in all communications ... my point was that if it was contractual then i doubt it would have been mentioned anywhere other than the emailed mailing list. No contract they have would require TGF to mention Ed on their facebook or twitter, email .. maybe, but even so I think that is doubtful. But if it were, then I think TGF would remove mention of Ed from facebook and twitter, which they didn't, ergo not contractual.

I remember watching the band perform Forever in Cleveland last year. Chad, Pat, and Chad basically mocked the song and Ed behind his back on stage. If they three of them had any balls at all, they would have told Ed that they weren't going to play the song before the show. Instead, they cheated the fans at the show by performing half-ass and acted like children in the process.

Ed is no angel, but the three of them don't behave any better.

"They cheated the fans!" The key word is cheated and I won't even go into that discussion anymore, no point. Chad, Chad and Pat have no contractual obligations to mention ED (or whtever he's calling himself these days). Death of a loved one puts life in focus and reminds us to treat one another with love and respect. Legalities aside, Chad, Chad and Pat are moving forward with their music and their lives. They are happy, content and looking forward to the future as TGF doing the thing they all love the most......their music. The three of them are brothers, they are present for one another thru happy times, thru sad times and thru very difficult times. That is what friends do and they are friends in the truest sense of the word.....more than that, they are family. The pain of being disillusioned by a long time friend fades in day to day life but that doesn't mean the deep seeded hurt doesn't remain within. The courts and lawyers will now handle the sad facts that are just that FACTS. We remain positive that TGF will bring joy to it's members and fans as well. We choose to focus on the positive and look forward to the upcoming months. LIVE was a huge part of our lives and it would be unthinkable to cast those years aside with angst. It is what it is! Love your family, treat them as a present from God because, as a very smart woman once told me, that's exactly what they are: presents! Peace Out
