I'd love to believe you as you lied to me once before regarding locking a tgf thread. I don't understand why 92 is in tunisia and has an eastern time zone and the same clock time as you and too many star wars references.

For what it's worth, LiveFan92 and SJN1279 are not the same person. I could post IP addresses and other technical data but you really just have to go through their posting history to determine that they're different people. I've also been around long enough to know when somebody is posting consistantly under multple aliases.

Aitkens and OutToDry are also different people. I've seen Aitkens post on Facebook (along with a photo of himself).

Both of you really should lay off making unsubstatiated claims.

Take it easy sak. wasn't trying to drag you in. I ended it after dan stepped in.

Back to the basis of the thread.

I think its safe to say Ed has an easier time visibly being known and his vocals. He may even do very well with this record and it's singles. It's also easier for him as he's got a major record label (ok sub label backing) to help spread the word.

I strongly feel TGF will reach a larger appeal to non Live/Candlebox fan base...the music is what a lot of people want. The music is very good. I've let some people who like rock music listen to it and ask them if they liked it and would they buy this record.....I am getting definite yes's over no's.

It will remain to be seen how their indy label will do. THe TGF guys are doing a lot of work behind the scenes to make it happen. This may not be the traditional record company marketing, but I think by choice, it's their way, on their terms.

EddieK has answered this question for us the last decade. As everyone knows when the creative process changed, the product and commercial/fan response went down the tubes drastically.

Well put. Fans of Live and general music listeners have, as you mentioned, been indifferent to Ed's music from Live for many years. I don't think this will change.

Has anyone else noticed that there is a ton of buzz about TGF and a general "I could care less" about Ed and his upcoming music?

I think this is apparent in the poll results to date.
