Hey kids,

I was lucky enough to get tix to the NYC show, but I am a bit worried about the Boston show, because Avalon is a small venue. At the same time its an awesome place to see a band because of its size though.

The reason I'm worried is that there is a pre-sale beginning tomorrow! Currently, I am not part of homespun, so I can't get the pre-sale password.

This may be a complete longshot, but would it be possible for someone to PM me with the password so that I can get some tix on the pre-sale date before they sell out? I would love you for it!!

You don't have to worry about this show selling out with the pre-sale. I doubt it will sell out before the day of the show. Live is not as popular up here as they are in NY. The Avalon is a club that alot of people go to and get the tickets at the door. You will have no problem waiting until they go on sale to the public. I'm on the Live Street Team and they will be sending me flyers to pass out for the show.

I can't wait, the Avalon is an AWESOME place to see a show rockin.gif

I've seen "The Roots" at Avalon front and center - its a small venue, very cool place to see a show. Can't wait!

I was thinking about going to this show, then they announced a show at Lupo's in Providence on April 22nd. So most likely I'll be seeing them in Providence, but should that show be great I'll probably go to the Avalon show as well.

Where did you see that? I just went to Teaparty Concerts and you can still get tickets.

Well they must have released more tickets for the show, they were sold out this afternoon! Someone even posted about it on SOY. Thanks for the heads up, I was able to get my friend a ticket!

Wow. All I can say is, well, wow.

I've been seeing Live for almost 12 years now. The last few years are when I stopped seeing them every chance I could, mostly because I don't have the money to justify paying to see what is ultimately the same show night after night. Not that I don't enjoy seeing them, because seeing them perform brings me to a place that is hard to get to without drugs tongue.gif Seriously though, last night blew my mind. It felt like they were finally like 'you know what? Let's give the fans what they want. ' And they certainly did. nod.gif

The show was shorter than others due to the fact that the venue became a club at 10pm - but I didn't feel like I was deprived of anything. They even played 2 songs not on the setlist - Shitowne and BOG. thumbsup.gif

Hearing Rattlesnake, Iris, and the exqusite Mirror Song brought goosebumps to my flesh and made my cheeks hurt from smiling.

Got to hang out a bit backstage after , and well, yeah - I fucking love these guys. And don't ever doubt that they love us too. smile.gif

Was anyone else there? I guess this could have gone under reviews. Sorry Dan - I am just so happy right now. I haven't been this happy with Live since 1997 yay.gif yahoo.gif kicking.gif guitar.gif happy.gif
