The cup is fucking ours!

After a horrifyingly hard match yesterday and only 1 PK we received the third cuop in a nearly 100 year history of the club! The first one was in the USSR, second - 1999, and now - 2010.

Wooooooooooooooooo

Nah, I could not travel to another city (Rostov On Don) where it took place on the eve before the work week. So I stayed at home, enjoying spits at the telly and swearing at the referee, who in the end did a pretty good job overall. However he only let us have 1 PK instead of 4 that there should have been, and hardly got out a yellow card while the FC Sibir, who we plaeyed against, was simply breaking our guys' legs time after time.

On the way back home they broke the cup btw... wahaha, and it was a new one, instead of an old one, which got broken last year after the finals. Fucking idiots. lol.gif

And idiot me, forgot to wear our fc tshirt today to work. Loadsa guys walking around the city in the colours, but not me. Blegh.

Here is me lovely def. Hubo. Goodie. Very young, but he is growing match to match with our club and is already a part of his national team, I suppose.

Cheers mucho.

It is not exactly glass. It's crystal, or cut-glass, whatever they call it in English, with silver and embroydery I guess.

Anyway, another trofy. Now - 2 months of rest (for the WC and holidays in the premiership) and then - second half of the championship till fall. For now we have not lost a single game, only winning and having draws. All thanks to the Magic Baldie.

We'll see.

Know what, since 1984 (when we became the champions of USSR), the club hardly fetched a trofy. At the start of the 90s we were outta premier league, down at the first division, when suddenly new blood was injected by the Spb coach, who trained the boys overhard and who took us back up.

Then there was Vlastimil Petrzhela, who grue famous after bringing loadsa Europeans to our club and getting a silver medal after years of gaming without results. He then sold the best player to the vicious enemy of ours, Moscow Spartak, but it is a long and another story, as the lad is now back and the fans can hardly cope with it, although he scores every game.

Then there was Advocaat, who during one year brought us to gold, then - UEFA and then - the Supercup and was fired after failing the last championship with a Spr coach taking his place and getting bronze for us.

Now it is all about Laciano. Can not wait for the end of the season. for now we are the first.

Who's excited about the World Cup? Should we start a new 2010 WC thread?

Well, Dan, you can simply rename this one. Though there are more and more Europeans here, the thread will hardly griow into a huge one. So you could name it WC2010 and sign it as "and other foorball issues"

Really, change it into Football at least. I had a hard time looking for this thread when I suddenly found out it had a word SOCCER in it.

I am excited for sure. Fuck my national team, old times are back when we could not really hope we would be outta the group into the playoffs... So nothing new with the 2008 champ being a sudden orgasm for a country to never forget.

I will for sure support the britts and the dutch
