like I said earlier, I'm on the fence on this issue - but I can't help but be excited about it.

CT, CG & PD set themselves really high standards, so the part of me that wants to hear them do some old LIVE material just knows they're going to make it special.

These songs that they do play won't sound nearly as great without Ed, plain and simple.

They may be the better group of musicians, but Ed > Kevin in terms of singing ability.

I think it's best when they play obscure and not often played songs in concerts, because those are song in which people are not used to specific live versions that has Ed's voice. I think it's more normal and better to hear a song like Don't Wait or Stil Aroused without Ed than a Lightning Crashes or Run to the Water without Ed.

Another vote for stage. The bassline in that song is awesome and the song as a whole doesn't get anywhere near the credit it deserves.

I think TGF could modify that song a bit too to make it even more rocking. Like a lot of Live tunes though, I worry about how they'll sound without Ed.

As much as he sounds like a dying queer now, he was very good back then and his voice fit that song so very well.
