I've been working pretty hard on the computer drums, they're obviously no substitute for the real thing, but more to get a feel of the song, gonna play it to some people and see who's interested. Used to have a great drummer, even was a doppleganger for Dave Grohl lol ... then drugs happend, stay away from drugs kiddies.

Looking forward to it! I though it was just me that couldn't hear it cos Dimitry said he was playing the whole album .. or was he? Who knows with the crazy but cool Russian tongue.gif

Haha, the whole old album is up there, but not the new one yet. The old one is... old, and not as good.

There is some Muse in there, but the influence is probably more from artists Muse was inspired by.

The final art for the EP is going to be awesome. We are getting fans in two cities to paint on a huge canvas and that's going to be the art. The first session is tonight, kind of nervous!

as long as you're not selling coffee, you'll be fine!

The canvas idea is cool... I've always liked Pearl Jam's hand-made cover art - like on Ten and Lost Dogs

It's so much more personal and creates an identity. Things like that breed longivity.

Actually we were pre-influenced by classical music due to music courses in college. Couple that with a lot of Zeppelin, a bit of Queen, and 90s grunge bands and that's more where our influence is.

We actually all hate most of Muse' work outside of Absolution, so the comparison is always funny. However, everyone always sounds like something and I'd rather be compared to that than say, Eddie K. lol.gif

I'd say this was actually the most Muse influenced track, so I'll be interested to hear what you think of them. One of them is actually up on our Facebook at www.facebook.com/thefiretonight. It is a classic rocker and I'm sure OutToDry will shit his pants when he hears it.
