Giel played "Grace" by tha Eddie K. several times already this week. He says he think it's a good song.

Also, it was played at least one time by someone else on 3FM.

Awesome, is that the main radio station in Holland? What other stations typically play Live?

Well, Nick, 3FM is usually a fan of Live's music or Ed. Last years when Ed was on promotion in Holland, he usually came to 3FM for interviews (just like last week). They must also be the only radiostation in the world to ever played Dirty Water, Lotus Flower thumbsup.gif

As I don't listen radio that much (and if I do only 3FM), I don't know exactly about the other station, although I do know "Veronica" plays Live songs often.

Ok after hearing a much better quality version of Just In TIme....... omg it still sucks monkey balls! Its just more garbage from SBFM. I like Zion, Grace, and Drive but this song sucks. Why is he promoting it? If this is one of his favs and best from the new album he is in trouble!

As a fan of Hot A/C music, Just in Time is really good. I feel it would make a strong single in that market.

The performance is floating around on youtube for those who don't want to download it.

at this point, if Ed released a pile of steaming bollocks, you'd think it was hot on the market.

Well, although I certainly don't like ALL of Ed's new songs (but I like some of them), and can't really say I like the overall direction Ed is taking now, I feel like every song I've heard so far could easily be a radio HIT, at least here in Holland. They seem to be written for the radio. Well, maybe except for Zion, which has a bit more alternative vibe, but for the rest I would say: it doesnt really matter what Ed chooses as a single. Of all songs, Grace is the best as a single choice, so I think (so far) he made the right choice. The man is still capable of writing great and catchy meolodies, that not every songwriter could do. Still, I would have prefered a REAL return to mid-90ies Live, in stead of this. nod.gif

Just In Time would never be successful as a single! There is no catchy chorus, the verses dont even flow either. It seems like he is forcing the lyrics together and almost talking instead of singing. Look Im no Ed hater ok. I just call it as I see it in my own opinion and thats all it is, MY OPINION. I like Grace and think that was a good choice for a single for the format Ed is focusing towards but Just In Time is just dull and forgettable. No single potential at all. It falls in same category as the majority of SBFM songs. The River, Mystery, Night of Nights, WDWGFH, Show, Sofia, were really the only decent songs on that album. Everything else was dull and forgetable even for the Hot AC category. And to be honest those songs mentioned could have been great songs I think if Ed would have let the whole band add their creativity to it but instead even those songs that had potential ended up very average. The rest were album fillers. Something that LIVE never had unitl SBFM, even with V and BOP. Every song was listenable at some point (well maybe not Bring The People Together) but you get my point I think. Then SBFM. It was like a bunch of demos thrown together with no thought put into them and released. I hope that is not was what Alive will be. I hope we have not heard the 4 good songs and everything else is garbage.
