But for me, the clincher is seeing this other band playing the Live tunes. I don't know if I would walk across the street to see a free concert if I had to see that.

We don't get many international acts coming this way too often, so I would go see both of them (Ed and TGF).

but, I would also add that I wouldn't hesitate seeing TGF more than once on their tour here, where as I doubt I could handle more than just a single Ed show.

I'll GRACIOUSLY take the TGF guys any day of the week. In my experiences, CT, CG and PD have been nothing but wonderful and friendly people (completely the opposite of the attitude I got from EK). And Kevin and Sean have happily welcomed me as a new friend and fan! Sean is freakin' hilarious and Kevin can cuss as much as he pleases. I think he rocks! Plus, those glasses make him look very foxy!!

100% agree! I only met Ed , Adam and Chad Taylor. Ed wasn't mean but not personable either....too distracted by what was selling (coffee, t-shirts, etc.). Adam was sweet and Chad Taylor was very funny and nice!
Passion.......that is what TGF have and that Ed lost a while ago!

Absolutely agree...a few times, when I've met the guys, Ed didn't come out at all! Without a doubt, they've never met the +boys+. At their Jackson Hole WY show a couple of years ago, I was standing outside their bus, talking to CAG and Pat, and Chad comes off the bus and walks straight up to me and says "hi, I'm Chad" while offering up a handshake. I ALMOST SHIT A BRICK!!!!!

On my experience, it depends on the show. In Wildwood in 2006, Ed was very personable, second only to Pat. In Vegas this year, Ed was super cool as well.

Ed has been a complete ass to his fans on thousands of occasions, while the other three guys have ALWAYS been quite "Gracious."

The first time I met them, the three guys asked if we had anything to sign straight off and offered us beer. Pat offeered us a TC cd and signed it, as did everybody but Ed. He didn't acknowledge we were there. Which was fine by me, but my wife was a big fan of his. So Jimmy stopped him before he left without even saying hello, to ask him to take a few pictures with her. I declined, because quite simply, I just get an extremely bad vibe off the guy.

The other guys were all very nice and spoke with us about anything and everything for over an hour. Chad G's wife was very nice too.

Ed is a complete dick, and the fact that Nick won't acknowledge it makes him an even bigger dick. not to mention a complete ass kissing retard.
