QUOTE(Wambangalang @ May 11 2010, 3:55 am) *

had this for years. enoscopy revealed no sign of celiac disease so doctors diagnosed as irritable bowel syndrome and said bad luck. A miserable year later i tried a gluten free diet and everything resolved itself. You dont have to have celiac disease to be sensitive to gluten.

look into it if you've already eliminated lactose intolerance as the problem.

Thanks.

I seriously doubt it's celiac disease and I know it's not lactose intolerance. My doc thinks IBS.
I was thinking along the lines of appendicitis, of which I had most of the symptoms. Problem is that when I go to the doctor the main symptom he's looking for (rigid abdomen) doesn't appear. It has at other times, though.

The problem with stomach problems is that they can reprsent several things at one. For example I know some people with Krohn's (Crohn's?) and some of them also have elements of celiac or ulcerative colitis

i personally dont think you should settle for IBS because theres fuck all you can do about that and it seems like an easy diagnosis, rather try everything you can including a totally gluten free diet if you havent, but i am not a doctor and i dont claim to know more than one. All i know is dealing with this kind of pain and discomfort is a nightmare.

Thanks man. But don't worry about me. I'm not in real pain - not like my friends with celiac/Crohns/Inflammatory bowel. I'm just feeling kinda like crap.
