For me, it's TGF only. I've just lost the love for Ed that I used to have. It felt funny to me, watching him perform Live songs by himself BEFORE the official split, so you can imagine how I feel now. I remember saying to msyelf "I don't like this at ALL"....and that's all I have to say about that. Kinda funny how basically ED has become DAUGHTRY!

Looking forward to seeing the boys again, that's for sure. Bring it, bring it, BRING IT!!!!!!

Hey, the count is presently 57.1 for seeing TGF Only, to 19.1 for Ed only & Both.

Interesting #'s so far. I do believe those #'s may go up for TGF when some of the fans who join here want to be entertained by some of the fodder in these forums.

its not about sides..

1. i dont care for any of ed's new material- i find them to be a major snooze fest.. not just musically, but lyrically

2. i dont want to hear him play LIVE songs with a band thats NOT THE BAND.

simply put, its about what i want to spend my hard cold cash on..

did all the drama over the breakup speed up my realization of reason #1-- absolutely.. i keep hoping to hear something that will make me go yahoo.gif but all i get is eh.gif

I agree with this statement. I am definitely more interested in TGF's sound than the cheesiness that is Ed at this point.
And being Agnostic, I am DEFINITELY not down with the whole Christian tangent he's gone off on rolleyes.gif

Well after listening to Ed's new songs (esp. the words) I am def. not seeing him at Starland. I am not into Christian music. I can't wait until TGF comes to my area! smile.gif

Listening to Ed's lyrics, I don't think they are out and out Christian. More spiritual/uplifting.

I can't wait until TGF comes to my area either, probably a few months after they reach 50,000 fans on Facebook.

TGF only but because money is tight at the moment and I can't really afford to go to two concerts this year (sad, I know). Right now, TGF's sound excites me a lot more then Ed's does. If I had the cashola I'd see Ed as well because he was the voice on many of my favorite songs/CDs.

Don't mind Nick, he doesn't really understand the lyrics anyway. He doesn't understand the music, either. He just likes his flaming gay bald man prancing around on stage.

I couldn't agree more. Why, just take a look at these words from one of his new tracks:

I was lost, but now am found
setting my sights on the great beyond

oh wait...

I think you are well aware that people are referring to his songs and lyrics now. I think Ed was in his Adi Da Samarj phase at that point, right?

Ed goes through religions like chicks go through tampons!

What a lovely analogy. Only difference is, Ed doesn't leave religion in a bloody mess
