When I was waiting for Ed and his band to come on stage, last week in Amsterdam, I sensed very good from the people surrounding me that they really didnt know exactly what's up with Live. They obviously knew Live and Ed (I heard them calling all the songs), but they said: "oke, so now Ed comes on stage, right? But he won't come with HIS band, but another band, right?" Other people said: "I dont know if it's gonna be Live or only the singerm but I hope he plays Lightning Crashes!". And a few people even tought that the way Ed was list on the posters ( "Ed Kowalczyk (of Live) " had something to do that he would play live on stage.

How much do people (outside of this forum tongue.gif) know Live broke up?? I mean, if even people in Holland doesnt know what's going on. ... Then again, nobody from the general public knew if Live was still alive for the last 6 years or so, so there you go I guess lol.gif

Noone out of Live-world even cares if the band still exsists I bet. However, I was pretty much surprised when around 7 Russian speakers in the net (on a Russian analog of Facebook, vkontakte.ru), who are huge post-grunge fans suddenly started messaging me and the boards with how much of a dick Ed was and deumn, was live really over etc etc

They soon will. Doesn't the Dutch Live fansite have updated information, I thought it did since Appetite was played there for about 8 hrs around Christmas time until Chad T asked it be taken down.

Live is over..........cue 'All Over You'..........as I think it's most prophetic now.

I wasnt hinting to the fanclub wink.gif ofcourse they and their members know about it (they often have even more information then we Live fans), but I mean everyone outside the Live community.

I think there will be more stories asking what happened once both tours happen here in the states. There have only been a few stories....most of them originating from Philadelphia media market.

I'm willing to bet a lot of reactions would be "Oh .. thought they broke up years ago?" ... Most people don't care.

I dunno. It was on some English-language music news sites, and a couple of other places, so maybe it's percolated a few places. On the other hand, I get the feeling nobody notices if bands break up anymore. It's all about Lady Gaga's flaming tits.

I just had a friend from HS who now lives in South Africa get in touch with my on behalf of some HUGE Live fans. He knows I knew the guys and was a huge fan, and they wanted to know when the boys were coming back to South Africa.

Um.......sorry but I think that will be a big fat never.

At least now there's not the shame of having to say ''No, no....they're...still together."

And then having to convince people "they did have 4 awesome albums, trust me, I'm not insane!"
