And once again, I have to say, if the other members of the band didn't like watching him dance around shirtless, singing his high pitched falsetto, for OVER A DECADE, why did they stick around? They could have left the band at any time.

We may never know, but they finally did it. I think it's for the best and I for one moved on.

It's all they knew how to do and they were still collecting paychecks. I think once they realized that he was taking money behind their backs, that was the final straw. I can't say I blame them either.

You get comfortable, you might not fully enjoy your job, but you enjoy the paycheck. You stick around. At some point there will be something that will cause you to make some changes. This was what caused them to make some changes.

They made a gutsy / well intended move. Asked for resolution, got nothing from him, as we are told in the letter. Leave it to the attorneys. Let's enjoy TGF!!!

There is already a thread for discussing the Live break up, can we keep this eerily similar discussion over there?

Any ideas on why the song wasn't on tonight? They said the cage match winner would be aired again on Monday right? Anyone else have the cahonies to call the station and ask?

It might have something to do with Crad Gracey's dad passing away from cancer today.

That is really sad news, but I don't think that would have anything to do with "Honest Man" not being in the cage match tonight.

It could be that Nick, or it also could be they asked the station to hold on replaying until the release date.

Please read what I said, 'it might be'

Maybe the station decided not to play music that sounds like it is from 1982?

I really do not understand what some people are saying here. They are bitching because the song is not….. what really? The music is Live to the core. If the song was performed by Ed we would possibly say “what a great comeback”. The song is so distinct that it will possibly have either lovers or haters. Lakini’s Juice was not a radio single and it was a love it or hate it song simply because it was so different and broke the status quo in the radio rock music at the time. Honest Man is doing the same thing but it may never be popular simply because TGF is unknown. If Throwing Copper did not precede Lakini’s Juice the song would go unnoticed.

Nah, not really the point imo.

Do the bands become popular because of their name or what? happy.gif

Live were also unknown once, that really did not matter when they hit Bilboard.
