I've had it my car(s) since 1994. Only took it out to switch to the newer car. Favorite alltime album over some real classics.

Well a mixture of LIVE is always on my IPOD and of course my trusty CD's are never too far away. Throwing Copper is always in the mix, but Mental Jewelry's raw nature is what drew me to this band. I guess actually it was DOAD, but that's a whole other story. LIVE lives on through their music and those who keep the music playing. I have three daughters now and my oldest who is 11 recognizes most of the music and I hope to continue to pass on the knowledge to others.

I enjoyed every album that Live released. The Gracious Few sound nothing like TC or SS. The horrible classic rock sound with Martin's vocals kill any distinction the album could have had. TC and SS both have a distinct sound, but the majority of the songs have their own feel and vibe.

If Live released a CD that sounded like Honest Man or the samples, I would be really upset by it. Thankfully it isn't the case. As a fan of Live's total sound, Ed's CD is far more to my liking.

so did you like Believe? Because it's the same "Horrible classic rock sound" being the same song and all.. And if you do like it, then I guess that just goes to show what someone else said that you only really identify Live with Ed's vocals.

Actually Believe was one of the only Live songs that I didn't really care for.

Agreed. You'd have to be damn near deaf to not hear the amazing similarities in the material Eddie K has released thus far.

To claim that the TGF material all sounds the same while not acknowledging that shows an amusingly clear bias.

Ed's vocals make the difference. Kevin Martin has the capabilty of performing pretty good vocals, I think his work with TGF has not shown it thus far.

Also, please continue to just speak in the context of what YOU like, and don't judge anyone's vocal quality. It is perfectly fine if you like Ed's voice more then Kevin's, but please don't start defining what is "pretty good" and what isn't.

...and Ed has more followers on Twitter by 3,000. It really doesn't matter either way. I'll be surprised if half of Ed/TGF fans and followers buy their albums opening week. Hopefully I'm wrong though.
